@@ChrisYarush345 ran my GoPro 360 constantly throughout each hunt this past season. I kept two 10000mah batteries with me and would switch them out as they died. Did pretty well as long as I remembered to charge them after the hunt.
It's a Pulsar Axion XM30. Overall I really like it! Comes in handy for scanning fields in the dark to let me know where animals are at, and works for difficult recoveries as well. It's certainly not a necessity, and they are pricey units, but they are nice to have when you need them.
what is the fanny pack you are carrying in the elk hunt? I don't want to carry a backpack and have used a fanny pack for a long time and I'd like to get a new one.
Looks like a great setup Justin! Just curious why you don't keep the camera arm shoulder mount in the top outside pocket with your trail mix so you can put it on the tree before you pull the camera arm out?

Really like the SD Card/external battery setup. Just ordered some for my GoPro's. Someday I'll do something with the footage lol.

Enjoyed this video, however I think the most important thing in a pack , especially in an all day hunt . Would be toilet paper.
Great point!! I usually keep a pack of wet wipes for those purposes.
@bowhuntordie as long as they are camping wipes that are true biodegradable. Many are not.

It's a super old Blacks Creek pack they don't make any more. I haven't found one I like better so I keep using that one. Broken zippers and all!

It's just a little bit too big to fit in there with my other junk.
Does the varizoom LANC controller you have work with your Sony? Always heard they were only made to work with canon cameras?
Yes, it works natively with the AX700. I used to have an AX100 and had to use several adapter cables to get it to work.
