In tropical countries like india where people commute to long distance in public transport and spend long hours outside and mostly stay in non air condtioned areas should use soap thoroughly atleast once during night time bath. And..yes bathing twice a day is ideal in my opinion. One can always moisturise skin is drying after shower. Colder country people could definitely follow the advise stated in the video.
Exactly! Once in a week is actually bad especially in our country. Atleast once a day is better.

My favourite are Mysore sandal gold for body and old cinthol for face as i tend to develop pimples very often

I agree, I have been using Dettol since forever and it has made my skin so so dry but I still use it once in a week because I don't feel clean if I don't use it once in a while. Rest of the days a mild body wash!
I use any natural soap like rose, chandan etc..not commercial ones..but only handmade ones. They are nice.

Soap quality is measured on the basis of TFM and above soaps contains least % of TFM which is not good for skin

I have extremely sensitive dry skin. I have been using the CeraVe hydrating cleanser bar for the last 7 months. It's incredible! Prior to CeraVe, I used to use a dove bar (the white bar) for 23 years (I am almost 27 now)
Using soap on the body: only once a week. Not a good idea. It will lead to superficial fungal skin infections, especially in India, where it's mostly humid & hot. I reside in Mumbai.
I have atopic dermatitis. I apply soap alternate days on my body.

Soap must be use according to people's work and professional job. A construction worker needs soap wash daily while a hotel receptionist needs weekly like the Dr. Said in the video. But due to High temperature daily soap wash is necessary.
Guys you can use Dove on your body and skin but don't use Dove on your hair it can cause irradiation and hair fall

I am using NEKO soap since my childhood after my doctor recommended this soap for ne to my parents and now i am in my 30s and i still believe it's one of the best soap ever as i also tried to use other regular soaps too but every time i moved back to NEKO...☺️

@@nehaa365 Contray to popular perfection about hygiene, so called dirt on our skin has protective effect. Excessive cleaning rituals have debilitating effect on skin. Only plausible reason for daily shower is get rid of body odour. In countries with scanty rain and megar source of fresh water they shower once a month. In banglore people have started showering one a week and surpringly they don't feel any different.
I still use Johnson's soap, it's very gentle, my face has become very bright and soft after using it for years.

I don't agree with you doc. I've used both soaps and seen that with dettol, I don't get body odour but with dove, I do. Been using dettol for many years and i have beautiful skin with no acne and definitely not dry.

My derma doctor suggested me to use pears its a very good soap but the big problem is it wont come last long within 3 days the soap gets finished & have to buy new one because it has glycerin... Now i have changed to mysore sandal soap trust me 1000times better and super soap...

Thank you ma'am for letting me know that we don't have to use soap daily on body.. Usually I get bored to apply soap on body so I use it only in underarms and wherever it is necessary.. I apply on full body only a once a week. My Mom always asks me tera sabun khatam q nahi hota... Now I can show this video 😅😅

I have been using Dove for years now. Probably the best soap and doesn't dry your skin. Though i would not recommend using soap on your face. Use a cleanser/face wash instead.

For hot and humid weather..i don't think.. dove soap suit our skin ... Because mostly our indian population comes under oily skin issues so .. ya that's why lux, centhol and all are very popular... because of hot and humid weather
