Unfortunately this video is now outdated, the MTO now requires you print a "schedule" and bring to your road exam where you will be quizzed on elements from the respective schedule...I learned this the hard way!
I'd like to thank you for creating a great video for the inspection! I have this test coming up soon and wasn't sure if it was the same circle check as other vehicles I've worked with.
The video trainer was very thorough but unfortunately the production side left some audio problems. Hopefully we the listeners did not miss out on too much information.
Awesome video! Really helped me for my F license. I would have failed for sure if not for this video. Don't forget to announce the gas tank, and check your horn before you leave. In Ontario you don't need to check under the hood! During the road test, on a quiet one way street I was told to park to the side and park as if on a hill, requiring the Parking Break!
+Michael Hetherington Hi could you tell me about the road test, someone told me they were asked to back up into a spot but failed because they didnt get out and look before backing up also thank you for mentioning the part about not having to check under the hood
This is old.. I've been asked about brake fluid. Check under the front to make sure nothing is leaking. Also he doesn't mention it but you need to say that you are checking all 3 sides of the tire and the treads are 3mm deep
Not really, this video explains the inspection very well. Just make sure your driver log book is up to date and get used to your vehicle before the test. Good luck!

We spent several minutes under the hood... in Ontario.

Yes, I used the van of the company I will be working for but the person before me taking the test had rented a UHaul van.
