Chicco Onefit Review

The Chicco Onefit is a great all in one option for a kiddo! The seat rear faces from 5 lbs and can high back booster to 100 lbs. it does not become a no back booster.
It is not a great option for three across (especially if all three are facing the same direction) except in larger cars. However, the seat features cleartex fabric which is flame retardant free and has a straightforward install in and mode of use.
The Onefit rear faces from 5-40lbs or up to 43 in. It forward faces from one year (preferably two+) 25-65 lbs and up to 54 in (same as the popular combination seat the Chicco Myfit.). And is a high back booster from 40-100 lbs, 38 -57 in and minimum of 4 (preferably 5+) years of age.

So my husband just ordered our 8 month old this seat I was thinking 40 pounds she already 20 so even if she is bigger let’s say like 45 pounds can I still keep her seated rear facing ?

You can rear face her until she hits 40 lbs. they do slow down though in weight and height gain usually once they are mobile. This seat rear faces most kids to 3-4. My 50th percentile 3 year old is 34 lbs and can still rear face in this seat height wise as well (the height max is 43 in for rear facing and 54 in. For forward facing.
