How I wish it's possible to know the right people to be around with. I have never be lucky finding a true friend. All my friends I value than a brother are all betrayer.
I like to put it this way if you can't find the right people you're better off being alone until those right people show up... faith in GOD.... will give you the strength to go on that Journey alone of course in this world there's a lot of bad people that are going to want to hold you down just ignore them and have faith in GOD keep doing the right thing and be a good person and then inexplicably those good people start to show up that's what happened to me

What if your are an adult and you have suffered your parents as the wrong people? I'm in this situation, and it's immensely difficult to deal with. They robbed me of childhood and put me in psychological prison, which I fight to get out of to this day. Really tough situation.

Yes, this is so true! What do you do when your adult kids fight you for everything and especially simple things like cleaning up their room and bathroom? Every time I tell my daughter to take care of her stuff, she thinks I am interfering in her life by wanting our home clean and neat. I know she has issues, but I have taught her exactly what to do and I even help her out sometimes. She thinks I am against her and she sides with my husband all the time. It's like I can't tell her anything. What kind of relationship is this? Of course, I love her because she's my child. God help me with this situation!
Trying to make a friend happy helping with a relationship while he thinks u are against him hahaha pathetic exactly it’s sad only can do so much but no matter what God still loves us!

Detaching and setting boundaries with people. It's a way to combat codependent behavior. You can not please everyone, so don't try. Love them from a distance. You'll be doing you and them a favor. In Jesus's name, amen
Even when you set boundaries, some spouses especially men do not listen, they just ignore you, they continue with their disrespect of you, verbally abuse you and continue to speak to you in a rough, harsh manner using bad words to belittle you to upset you. So Pastor Joel is quite right, leave as soon you can. Why put up with ungodly spouses or people?
