Thanks for the hacks💕. We live in Belgium and we always travel to the South of France with the car. So we have about a 12h drive. I have 2 boys. I buy small things like a book, crayons, toys,... I wrap them in giftpaper. Every hour our boys get a little present and the love it😉

A great tip for anyone who gets travel sick is to sit in the middle seat so you can look straight ahead I had really bad car sickness but this tip really helped me and now I never get carsick
Love the video but please be careful with loose and semi loose items in the car; if you have an accident, of any speed, these objects will become projectiles which could harm you or your family! I don’t want to imagine how much damage a laptop would do if you were holding it during an accident. Love Annabel - student paramedic who has seen far too many car accidents xx
U really prep so much goodies in the car, seems like taking a flight! I always keep the airsickness bags from the airplanes, so that I can use them for road trips 😊

I have severe Travel Sickness. Keep them as Cold as possible. Try seabands, Place them in the Front of the car, Drive at night, make Sure they are not hungry ans the seatbelts fit. If thats Not enough give them medication. Not the chewing gum crap. But sth like vomex. Yes it makes them tired but thats Not a Bad Thing on long trips. Its such a Good feeling to finally reach a Destination and just Enjoy holidays. And Not Deal with dehydration, stress and Recovery the Next day.
Love all these hacks. Want all the Amazon goodies!! The sharp pencils in the car gave me anxiety though... Reminded me of an old Grey's Anatomy episode where a kid ends up with a pencil in his eye after a bus accident 😳
I usually carry portable kettle,fridge and blender. My husband is more of tea person, im more of drinks person and my kids are more on fruit squashes. I also carry few basic wooden crockery. Incase we're on trip with frnds n our mini BBQ. I've got one individual zip pouch prepared each for Toiletries, first aid, towel-napkins, car papers, car cleaning items n Vaccum .
I used to get car sick so much just like your son and still do,so when i was about 10, My parents started giving me dramamine which prevents this . It totally changed the Game . Always check with their pediátrician, My dad was a doctor , so he bought that for me.

Thanks for sharing your hacks. Will try some of them next trip. For motion sickness, have you ever tried Sea-Band or something similar? Works wonders for my husband ;-) and they also have kids sizes.
Our car hack since we don’t have tablets and have an older car is, we wedge a phone in the gap under the headrest (of the driver or passenger seat). It acts as a holder for the phone and the kids can watch cartoons from there.
This video was amazing❣️I loved the shower caddy hack😃 One of our favorite traditions for long road trips is “ travel backpacks” as my kids call them!! A week or so before we leave, I will go to the dollar store and pick out several cheap toys/snacks.. typically one for each hour we’re on the road.. to make it extra exciting, I wrap each little toy/snack/candy in gift wrap individually! Each child gets their own backpack and gets to open one gift each hour!! On the way home, they have all their opened gifts contained in the backpack to play with! Totally helps with the “ how much longer till we get there questions”... the only problem is it turns into “ how much longer before we can open another one” 😬🙄
I’m going on a 2 hour car trip, It doesnt seem that long but It depends if there’s traffic or not. My parents got me the iPad and storage holder, instead of a travel pillow or a blanket I’m going to bring my pillow pet and I put It around the part of my seatbelt that my neck is at so the seatbelt doesn’t hurt me and so the pillow can’t really slide away I’m excited for the trip now lol 😂
