29:00 it’s a follow shot. Stun does not mean stop. A cue ball cannot stop and then decide to start moving again.

When a cue ball contacts the object ball full and stops it is a stop shot. When the cue ball hits the object ball and takes off along the 90 degree tangent line, that is a stun shot. But if there is top spin or bottom spin after "stunning" off of the object ball, then it becomes stun follow or stun draw. So in this case where cue ball hit the object ball full and then rolls forwards, it would be called a stun follow.

Karl...A stun shot is just a stop shot at an angle....it stuns along the tangent line...what you're describing is what we {Canadians ??} call....force follow...funny enough..stun is a British term....it was also known as a deadball shot.

Force Follow.
i like the term stun run-through for the shot that was played, because it's not exactly a follow shot but it goes through the object ball. a follow shot to me is one that is either derived from natural follow, or force follow. and a stun shot is one where the cue ball is made to go closer to the tangent on purpose, and you can only do that by manufacturing the spin on contact.
i think, personally, i would have called the shots that veer near the tangent, that are in the "stun" category, stun forward and stun draw. but the snooker terms are more apt.
