How My Son Became BTCC Champion

Proud Dad and ex-racing driver Simon Hill tells the story of how his son Jake Hill became 2024 British Touring Car Champion (BTCC).
In part of the longer Don't Lift Off Podcast with friend Anthony Dunn, Simon talks about the struggle to raise funds without family money in order to enable Jake to race in the BTCC and seeing his against-the-odds transformation from being a middle pack driver with average teams, into being a regular podium contender, then race winner and finally champion.
The pair discuss Jake's talent and dedication and how much the championship win means to Jake and Simon personally and to his family, friends and team around him.
