LEGO should make a sound brick where you can record your own sounds and activate them from the remote.
Good idea.
Yeah Lego should do that that's a really a smart idea
If you remove the red rubber bands from the weels, the train will run a lot smoother. I suggest trying it out! :)
smoother if you remove it then the train can run at normal speed?
@@andiputrarailfan yes the rubber bands give problems
@@museumtallerlij5571what about for the steam trains?
@@andiputrarailfan same exact thing
if you take the rubber bands of it runs a lot smoother, its the same for all trains that have them
@@museumtallerlij5571 so the rubber bands only for steam trains?
TGV, Maersk, Hogwart express, BNSF, Santa Fe, all of these trains were build from lego studio as real, now lego studio build an Swiss Crocodile BBS (Brown)
Man I forgot you hade a big lego city it looks amazing
It is sad that after you motorise the set you can’t put mini figures inside the locomotive
There is solution to motorized one of carts
You can, just buy some rolling stock and put motors in it
Yup
You can still put the outside like in the front of hanging of the side just saying
P3
Why are the coolest looking Lego locomotives the hardest to motorize? The Emerald Night and Hogwarts Express have to loss their fireboxes, this Crocodile loses its seats, and the Hidden Side Ghost train has to lose its wings if it's motorized, whether using power functions, or powered up systems.
That's where the 9 volt motor comes in handy.
@@MADABOUTLEGO Yeah but those motors only work on 9 volt track, require a transformer, and can be tricky to apply to some locomotives.
@@carterjames8829 But still handy as no battery case and wires.
@@MADABOUTLEGO Yes, but 9 volt tracks are expensive, more than the normal track, and when it comes to 9 volt motors, the track matters. And the motors are far more expensive than power functions or powered up.
@@carterjames8829 Can buy new ones now and a motor is on the way www.jb-spielwaren.de/en/fx-bricks/?ReferrerID=25
Thank you so much! I wanted to see this as I got it for Xmas!
I have added a gear reduction into this model and this is more "realistic".
Im buying one soon glad you have one too. Theyre really amazing
Dude I'm your fan I love legos it's the best and keep up the good work 👍👍
keep up with the good work and please more lego builds
9v is the best
It's amazing.😺
The engine is cool, but the controls are hokky & jerky. It’s cool the phone can use it, but the issue with it is that it gets out of range & the engine will just stop moving the same happens if the phone turns off.
That looks so cool! I’m a huge fan! You’re my role model for stop motion!
Looks like I am not first XD
Hola madaboutlego. Siempre veo tus videos. Eres mí ejemplo a seguir en TH-cam. Nunca pares sigue asi. SALUDOS DESDE MÉXICO!!!!!!🇲🇽🇲🇽
Tengo un canal. Te he recomendado a mis pocos suscriptores. Quisiera que estés en mí pobre canal
Thank you from Ireland!
@@MADABOUTLEGO ooooh thanks madaboutlego 😊😊🇲🇽
MADABOUTLEGO rum a freight train with the alligator engine
Wow.It's so cool I like your lego train🙂👍
It's a set in case you did not know
like for the description!
did you realize that Passenger is subscribed to your channel?
That one can go much quicker
Question, what's the name of the song that plays at the start and end of the video?
Victim To Victor (TH-cam)
@@MADABOUTLEGO Thx, it's a really good song.
@@carterjames8829 No problem.
Cool 😀 I subbed you 👍
Really GREAT video. One question...is there coding involved when using the Lego remote or does it just work automatically? Thank you.
Just plug and play, the app is the same just download and the phone links to train.
Thank you!
Or maybe instead of in front of the locomotive I place the 9 V in the middle
Do you need the big motor or can you use the 45303 as well?
Or will that one be to small for this set?
Might be a bit small, as you see the trains not the fastest with the big one.
MADABOUTLEGO but hasn’t that to do with the gearing of the motor? Yes, the bigger motor is more powerful but it also spins slower.
@@brickisland6353 Cannot find out, Have you looked on Eurobricks there is a forum for train stuff.
Can I ask you were do you buy that power up function separately from?
Can buy from LEGO but better to get a 60197: Passenger Train and all come with it. th-cam.com/video/LrgSG6ejg7c/w-d-xo.html
Ok thanks man!
I uploaded a video on how to motorized the crocodile locomotive with the 9 V motor
Hi, we have motorised the set succesfully (instructions are now 2021 in the manuel) however the front and back parts keep derailing on our LEGO track. The middle part runs smooth. Any ideas how to solve this? Little boy (8) is now very disappointed. Thanks so much for all tips
Only thing can think of is try pulling or pushing the wheels in a bit, does not take much for them to jump off track. Hope this helps.
@@MADABOUTLEGO your tip combined with the removal of the red rubber bands works excellent. Thank you🙏
I m thinking to make it running with a 9v motor, but I dont know how to pick up electricity...
Think would need a rebuild but not look the same...
@@MADABOUTLEGO using a normal 9v motor (2838c01), Non the train one, is possible. but as I said I need to know how to pick up electricity
@@Granza90 Seen something on Eurobricks about that but a lot of work. Just use the battery box.
The app you are use whats it’s called
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lego.common.poweredup&hl=en
Would usual railways City ok for this train? I can’t find which railways compatible for this one?
Yes, the film is showing it on normal City track.
@@MADABOUTLEGO thank you
Did you change something on the wheels? I am getting a lot of dragssss
If I remember pull them out a bit from the body, think were rubbing a bit
@@MADABOUTLEGO Thanks. Removing the rubber bands did help. But then still a lot of drag during a turn. I will try with more modifications.
Does it have the motor by default?
No, have to get it.
@@MADABOUTLEGO okay thank you
почет тебе
If lego’s weren’t expensive enough adding a Power function just makes it worse.
€100 for 1271 pieces is pretty good
@ZJ Bricks Yeah, it's called Inflation
Plus cost: you should buy mobile to use powered up system. Because remote control does not accept the new motor.
Where u buying this motor?
From LEGO Shop online.
Run it on a 30 car freight train
🤣🤣
MADABOUTLEGO it is a freight engine
When I buy this locomotive I’m gonna add a 9V motor to it
How? It’s made to not fit an old motor?
I’m going to add a flat Lego plate And put the 9 V motor on it
Fanofblueshockey 107 will you make a video about it?
Ecia Cud I already made a video about it and guys I suggest you put the 9 V in the middle
All right you to the video is out
