- WOW THIS THING IS LOUD! Every single sound of the city was drowned out by this pneumatic siren, and the whole street shook. One passerby who had airpods in his ears had to put his hands over his ears because the sound was so loud, and two electric kickboarders almost fell because the sound was so sudden and strong. Awesome device!
7.8.2023, Turku, Finland
These sirens can reach 131 dB at 100 ft making them the loudest sirens in Europe.
Prob it is louder than the p-50?
P50s/t135s they can reach 135 dB
How loud is the 273
@@TheCasualSirenEnthusiast Between 124-127 dB.

the wind-up sounds like there’s a FS model 2 inside but louder than ever [echoes]
This is awesome in so many ways!
Yes it is!
Oh man I can’t get enough of that wind down. I feel like this is louder than a Cyclone since the whole street shook lol. A Cyclone would only shake the ground about 50 feet from it, maybe a bit from 100 feet too
Maybe, but still this was very powerful. You don't just hear the sound, you feel it strongly.
@@jessetujula I bet. It is just weird that they called the Cyclone the loudest omnidirectional siren. The larger Whelens like the 2810 and 2910 are louder than a cyclone
@@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernILfunnily enough the cyclone is much older than the whelens so at the time is was beginning production it was the loudest
These got replaced in my country long long ago
What did they get replaced by?
@@TheSirenManiacYT modern ones
ECN sirens
@@PNR_UmbreonYT ok
0:08 sounds Like A ACA Hurricane
0:21 I like this part because I can hear the D1800 in the background.
best sirn ever, the great soun.
The Chrysler air raid siren is louder than the F71
Chrysler... isnt that this cheap american Brand?
yes but they onced produced sirens@@unabhangigenachrichtensh7296
@@unabhangigenachrichtensh7296 Look at the Chrysler air raid siren, powered by a V8, it's the loudest air raid siren reaching 138dB at 100ft.
Nope. If i know it right, it has a v8 motor...@@unabhangigenachrichtensh7296
@@unabhangigenachrichtensh7296yes they made a V8 air raid siren in the 1950s.
It sounds like an ACA Hurricane.
its so loud the camera was shaking
Yeah easily, it was just insanely loud and powerful. Not only the loudness but also the huge sound pressure it produces.
It sounds like an ACA hurricane, but in a höörman f71
the 2001 sirens are very loud because I live close to a SRN and it is very loud also it is close to my school
the p50s/t135s can reach 135 dB
Pneumatic? Sounds mechanical
Yes, it's pneumatic siren
It is both really. It uses a chopper disk with 4 holes in it which looks very similar to a Chrysler’s chopper and a 4 hole stator to direct the sound into 4 large horns that are inside the siren’s head, and the chopper gets supercharged with air from compressed air tanks which makes the siren loud as hell similar to a Thunderbolt but just without a roots blower
@@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL ok, so it's like an omnidirectional 4 port mechanical siren that uses pressurized air from tanks?
@@TransistorizedCharlie yeah pretty much just a different kind of chopper assembly that doesn’t have blades at all and relies only on compressed air like the Chrysler
You could hear a teho siren at the end of the
@@mclarensuniverse you mean Teho-Ulvo, teho means power and ulvo means howl, so they are "Power-Howl" in english 😅
