@@polarisi2328 I like Moriya as well but I pay now TV £ 34 pounds a month to watch Ariya they wont show any coverage either they take my money & dont care ,God Ariya is a 2 time major winner ,I was watching a big tournament LPGA last week Ariya played with Jessica korda Jessica was struggling a bit Ariya was playing well get to 18 par 5 both on green for three they show Jessica's put then show other players I find out thru checking scores on my phone Ariya birdied 18 it is showing favouritism to certain players they show also vast amounts of coverage of Lexi Thompson & Brook Henderson & if I am lucky they will show Ariya putting out then sod off to their favourites .
I presume you're paying for golf broadcasting, not specifically Ariya coverage. Point is, everyone has their particular favorites and biases. No broadcast is ever going to satisfy every fan all of the time. As of now, a top 10 world ranked player will garner more of the media attention. I love Ariya, but she has currently fallen out of the top 10, and even top 25. But contending near the top of a leaderboard over a weekend forces a network's hand regardless of power and popularity rankings.
if I could get just Ariya coverage I would not be on here moaning would I, if I want to watch LPGA live I.e majors I have to pay what the price is otherwise I dont get to see it or Ariya I know it's free on you tube but the coverage is poor same old players even the ladies that never win or are in the top ten gat any coverage either I have a smart TV at home but other family members want to watch their programs which is only fair. Watching the broadcast on Golf Channel is so much more enjoyable with Judy Rankin, than the always critical/negative Morgan Pressel. I didn't have to Mute.
It wasn't about her score for the day. She's finished top 10 in the last 2 tournaments. She was already selected to be among the pre-determined broadcast feature groups for round 1. Look at the lpga twitter or instagram pages to see who their featured groups will be prior to each tournament.
