The thing about V8 is you can tune/modofy it as much as u can and it will give you much HP than before it is quick revving light engine which if paired correctly will give u Koenisegg but W16 is another type of engine its very hard to tune/modify and is quite heavy its not fast revving but generates Huge amount of power which is very difficult to put down on tracks properly the best thing about w16 engine is they will keep pushing and its better option for gaining top/high-speeds.

It's amazing that the Bugatti series are so powerful, so quick, and so fast but yet as comfortable as a regular sedan and as quiet as one. That's what makes that car the greatest. Even Captain slow from top gear was able to handle it at high speed.

wrong, 1800HP is the crank/brake horsepower (that is, the actual horsepower produced by the electric motors and the engine). The engine makes 1100HP and the motors make 700HP but since the engine and the motors have different peak power range, the electric motors can only send 500HP to the wheels. Technically, at the wheels, the engine and the motors can only supply 1500WHP aka 1500 wheel horsepower, which is the actual dyno measurement you need after taking the drivetrain losses into consideration.
