The Battle Of The Year has come a long way. Who would have thought that BOTY would go from starting out in 1990 in a local youth culture centre with 500 hard-core fans to an arena packed with more than 12,000 roaring spectators and b-boy crews from all over the world?
BOTY has grown massively -- and we have slowly realised our vision of developing the spirit of breakdance and creating an international event platform that allows B-Boys and B-Girls from all different countries to express their creativity in front of an ever-growing audience.

At this moment extreme crew was way better than morning of owl . extreme crew won boty international in 2007. Morning of owl got their perfect team after 2012. And shining in 2013 and goes on.

Never have I ever wanted to see the two crews hug it out and show mutual respect at the end of the battle more than here, ahah. Damn, Issue with the blond hair and super aggression, seems like a whole different person. Judging from this battle, MoO's style has always been pretty artful and elegant; pretty surprising that they used to be this battle-crazy.
Yeah, haha. Read a comment on one of the MoO vids a while back about how someone stepped in and taught the MoO crew to change their battle mentality to be less aggressive. Not sure how true that is, but makes sense seeing how chill Issue is here once the battle ends.
