The way I make my songs is that I take the original track and import it to Logic. On top of the recording I track two guitars, one hard panned left and one hard panned right. In this case I just listened to the recording and checked live recordings, and tried, to the best of my ability, to play as close as I could to what the left and/or right guitars where playing. So sorry, I do not have anything else then the original recording. Would have been cool to have the stems of the song but I do not have any connections to Ghost even though I am swedish. Bummer! ;-)
@@markuslindstrom2775 holy shit, I didn't even notice, your playing is so spot on I thought that you somehow got the stems and replaced the guitar tracks. Thank you so much for replying so fast!!
That's a great cover. and the tone is spot on! Might I ask what your settings are on Archetype Gojira? I have been trying to emulate their tone but can't seem to get it right.
My sound is a combination of a lot of factors, my two main pedals that I run before my audio interface is a JHS Double Barell v4 (with just a small amount of overdrive) and a MXR ten band eq (cutting low end and high end and boosting mids). That is just to make my guitar cut through the mix when I record to the album so it is not that great as a stand alone guitar sound in isolation. So my settings on the actual Gojira plug in will not help you that much.
I use a ten band eq (with boosted mids) and a JHS Double Barrel before my Neural DSP Gojira Amp sim so the sound is not only the stock plug in. But I mainly use the middle amp with the stock speaker and tweak a bit according to taste.
best ritual tab i've seen on yt. Nice work
Thanks!
this is by far best cover ive seen of this song, how did you manage to get the separate tracks from the original song?

I love that guitar tone from the opus album. He asked me how did you get it?

Could you create a tutorial? If it's not too much trouble, it sounds like that typical Opus tone. I love ❤
Maybe, I'll see. I have limited time to make videos and right now I am mostly focused on transcribing and recording playthroughs.
Best
Yeah, Ghost has some really good songs!
