Exploring more of the Machu Picchu of Turkey is part 3 of our nearly 5-hour visit at Termessos in Antalya, Turkey. We explored places not easily accessible in this incredible location, giving you a fresh perspective beyond the guided tours. Check out th-cam.com/video/7h1oC35zPZE/w-d-xo.html for more of these incredible ancient ruins.
Is my hypothesis that the 9-ft standing single Stone was a unfinished column possibly two columns but definitely it was unfinished seems like whatever happened happened as they were in the middle of constructing that stone eyes making them into columns I'm thinking right in the middle of the process halfway done whatever happened happened
So far this has been my favorite ancient ruins to visit. It was hard work, but so worth it! Watch for Part 4 releasing tomorrow night at 7:00PM EST where I fully explore the Theater of Termessos.
Well it’s so interesting. When I think of Turkey, I think of beaches and hotel which is where I went going to Antalya, but I’ve never thought there’s so much more and you’re showing us. I’d be pretty scared in some of these places though…
If it is allowed I would definitely have brought a tent and camped out for the weekend up there on that nice flat grass up there and yeah I would have been making like a nice little fireplace out of some of the old rebel stones that were not ever part of a building that way you can't get in trouble for it I don't know I think that place is majestic and I want to go there so bad as I believe you're missing so much you're not focusing on the things I think are cool but anyway
I could spend weeks up there! We only spent about 5 hours. The next part of this adventure is releasing this week that explores the ruins of the theater.
@@PathstothePastPresentFuture lima Peru 🇵🇪, Lake Titicaca is my number one place I want to go I don't know why but since I've been a child in fifth grade that place has been calling me since I've done a report on it in 5th grade and got A- minu on it ,may I add, lol.I feel some kind of connection to the Inca people

@ I would agree that your hypothesis is the best answer as to what this piece is.
very cool place to explore

Very nice! So much to explore there 🥰
I can’t wait to go back and venture down paths we saw but didn’t follow. 5 hours is more than enough time to cover the main parts but we want more!!
Cool 😎
It was and is!!!!

Termessos is in Antalya! It’s just northwest of the city. This ancient city is not for everyone 😉
The rubble in the Minor Temple of Artemis is from the roof and upper walls. But why is there no dirt and weeds growing here?
Thats a pretty good point, its not nearly as overgrown as I would imagine given ita age. Then again it's not in a tropical region.
If you only had a metal detector.. No telling what you could have found
My guess is there would not be much there. Now if some really rich person could do a thorough lidar scan of the area…that would be most revealing!!!
Earthquake destroyed the place!
At least 2 earthquakes!!
To compare this to Machu Picchu is having no idea of what Machu Pichu is.
Of course they are not the same. It’s just a nickname based on the local terrain.
Why you so scared mam,i dont get it😮
I put that highest point where the tree is up there that would be a great place for a session to smoke a nice blunt
Not in Turkey!!!🇹🇷
@PathstothePastPresentFuture I know, and that is too bad for people like who, just wanna connect spiritually and weed helps, lol

Nope I'm out. Stupid music and flashing scenes too hard on the eyes
Thank you for telling me this! I will cut it out in the next part and just get right into the theater exploration!
