I see the model number is the same as the Waeco I purchased 9 years ago. It still runs fine. Great fridge oh, mine is a 60 litre. Have the same in a Kings version being the AFK-60. It has had the 'fire' recall done. I suspect the Kings uses a bit more power and it's insulated cover is thinner than the Waeco one.
Nice to run. I would not be happy that the temp meter is 2 degrees out. But as long as you make them aware of that they should be right. Sigi and I love our 2 s engel fridges we use one as fridge and one as freezer. Done a lot of rough corrugated tracks and have never let us down. Mind you they do cost a lot more. Power consumption is about a bit less as well.
Yeah even the temp is out on my kings fridge by about 2 degrees (same fridge I guess) . I was actually amazed of the power consumption . I did not think it would of been so low. Hope you and sigi are well mate 👍🍻
Gotta love the gayco’s BTW i have just fixed a very similar 1 to that, people don’t get that these are not designed to be out in the weather in the back of a ute

Sorry I’m not sure of waeco fridge prices as this fridge belonged to my brother in law . It’s been a good fridge but I’m not sure if that’s a good price or not . It pays to shop around 👍

@@EFFICIENTSELF As long as you know mate. Would be a shame to set the fridge ar 3c expecting it to keep cold on a 40c day just to have the food spoil.

Kings is a rebadged waeco? I have 4 waecos and they are a hell of a lot better than bad quality kings.
Waeco’s are rebadged mobicools, mobicool is The manufacturer for Waeco
