Awesome tutorial! Dealer wanted $545 to replace the window regulator assembly. Paid $120 for the assembly w/ express up and down function from local auto part store. 1hour completion time.Thank you!
Thanks for the video! The dealership wants $1000 to replace this for me.. I found an aftermarket replacement part for under $100 and the one from the dealership was $250 gonna save myself $900 because of this video.
For anybody having the issue where you can’t get your window into the correct position to remove the bolts from the window regulator, skip ahead to the next step where you remove the 5 bolts attaching the window regulator to the car door. Best done as a two person job. Have someone hold the window so it doesn’t fall down. Then proceed to manually push the window up and have someone hold it in place from the bottom and have the other person tape the window
Video has been helpful so far, but I'm at the point where the regulator is too far down, and have no way of reaching the 2 bolts. Any solution on getting the window up enough to get access? The window will not roll up using the control.
My window is stuck in the up position Is there a way of understanding cluching it to drop it down to remove the screws that attach the window to the motor ?
Hello, I just wanted to come back on here and thank you for your help! After watching your video, I was able to install my own and save some money as well!
Thanks bro! Local Nissan dealer wanted $692 for a window regulator + motor (sold separately) didn’t even ask what labor would be!! Not sure what it is with Nissans, but the parts are crazy overpriced. I own 2 Acura’s and the OEM parts are nowhere near Nissan’s prices.

I just tapped the motor several times with my ratchet and it started working again.
what if the window is stuck mid way
Bro used to do voiceovers for barney and pbs (joke guys)
If i can move window up and down i wouldn't need to replace the regulator.
