6:10 DbD is an "asymmetric horror game." Since that section is called Asymmetry, and that the right half of the page is showcasing scratch marks, it's likely that the left portion was showcasing concept for survivor-only tracking graphics that had similar function to killer's scratch marks. Considering that the majority of those indicators look like light sources or flames, they invoke feelings akin to the campfire in the main menu.
I don't always agree with Scott Jund but an early game period would be great. Sometimes even if you know where to start looking, spawn positions just really screw you over and you won't even start a chase until gens have a bunch of progress already. Lethal Pursuer used to help make early game more consistent but distortion is very popular right now so it can end up being just a dead perk slot. Corrupt Intervention is still good but it shouldn't feel mandatory on setup killers. I also think the finisher mori system would've been great, they just chose the absolute worst way to implement it. Should've only worked during EGC rather than at any point in a match. Such a waste of development time and resources just for it to be scrapped entirely before even hitting live servers.
On the topic of basekit mori, never really understood why they dont make the yellow mori basekit. If theres only one survivor left and theyre down, the match is pretty much over, and it'd be a cool way to reward killers who got a 4k and make moris occur more often (which would be good if the devs plan to sell unique moris.) This also circumvents all the critiques that the endgame auto-mori got because it only comes into effect when a single survivor is left and they're downed (as opposed to when all survivors are downed) and allows the killers to give hatch if they want to.
@@zzz-ovidiu2015 While that is true, the chance for that is miniscule at best considering that they're the last survivor left, unless the survivor somehow has decisive active, which is *incredibly* unlikely if they're the last one. In your time of playing DBD, how often has that been the case, where the last survivor manages to wriggle out (considering that there are no other survivors to help body block,) or where a hook perk, such as deliverance or wicked, manages to save the last survivor alive (especially since at this point the killer can just stand by the hook and wait for the survivor to die)? While it may certainly happen, the odds are just too low to be used as justification. When only one survivor is alive and the killer has downed them, 99% of the time that survivor is dead, unless the killer gives them hatch.
Oh, and the auto-mori thing, I think it would be cool if the cyprus mori was basekit, allowing you to mori the final guy no matter what, and perhaps make the cypress mori into a one-time use mori like ivory but specifically for the obsession only. That way it's still a yellow tier item.
I should've scrolled down a bit more, just posted a comment like this. The cyprus mori could also be re-purposed to give a good amount of bloodpoints once the mori is pulled off, if the obsession-mori idea is tossed out.
They could probably make it so that there's a doorway right next to crawlspace or something like that, essentially they should make sure that the walls near the crawlspace aren't too long

Early game collapse seems like a pretty good idea but would totally require some form of difference between certain killers ; crouch gaps seem pretty interesting but would probably either have to be an interactable thing or have some sort of trigger that causes the entity to block it after a few uses within a time period.
so long as they aren’t super safe loops I can see the crouch hole’s something that could be added to maps for a bit more variety in chase and give urban evasion a reason to exist, there would just need to be a way for every killer to get a hit around them because otherwise it turns into a new infinite. Side not theres a roblox game called flee the facility that has crouch holes and they literally go through large closed walls that in dbd would be stronger than some old infinites and I wouldn’t want that anywhere near dbd 💀
I'm not quite sure about that since the artbook is from the summer of 2016, which is way before the endgame collapse was implemented (EGC was added in 2019)

I don’t understand why they didn’t implement the idea that the killer can always mori the last survivor rather than hook them. It would be easy to implement and allow every killer to see their cosmetics more often in games.
Im pretty sure the base kit mori the one we had for the ptb is still coming but knowing when its coming it’s possibly in the future that whole idea just needed to be rethought out.

I don't think crouch spots would be too bad, Crouch Walking is slow plus if Killers can still hit through them then thery're hardly useful during a chase
You know, it would be cool if they made those duckable spots into an actual thing but breakable by the killers. Just a new feature to spice up the gameplay a bit and give crouching a purpose beyond pretending skull merchant has counterplay.

DBD Mobile so much better cool things and many people are saying its much better as our core version. Yes it has issues in some ways. But Voice chat is coming. and has much better skins..remember the naked trapper. (forget the name) Bots for survivor and Killer. Different Gamemodes. etc. The only real bad thing its really really expensive. but feature wise much better.
It's a special icon pack called the nostalgia pack, it can be donwloaded from the nightlight website and offers no in-game advantage, all it does is change the textures of the icons

I conceptually like the idea of a little crawlspace that only a survivor can enter, but gameplay wise it’d be really unbalanced
The killer should be able to break it just like a breakable wall. I think it would be fair this way

Yeah exactly, crawlspaces could work great if they aren't placed on long walls
Maybe a vent that you can open with an long interaction but the killer can close it very quickly
Kind of looks like the asymmetry thing was meant to be different parts of the scratch marks to make it look more interesting.
Having crawl spaces would probably actually work quite well now as long as there's a breakable wall next to it, assuming there were only 1-2 per map
Either this or just make the crawlspace fairly unsafe in terms of the length of the walls surrounding the crawspace
That beginning warmup could literally be forced over by survivors when one of them goes and intentionally starts a chase
