    • @markhalstead2386

      The selector pin sits exactly at the mid point of the 16" cross over. The weight horn center will be 8+1.5" or 9.5" from the Ares selector pins. An Olympic plate is around 17.72" in diameter and one half of that diameter would extend toward the selector pins. One half the diameter is 8.86", which is less than the 9.5" distance from the selector pin. At the widest part of the plate, it will be 0.64" of distance to the selector pin, however the plate is curved so really it would be that minimum distance at one point.

    Is that the leg roller being used for the lat pull-down at the 7:39 mark? The leg roller (even if you buy 2) for the PR5000 still seems too short at 20" each with a rack width of 47" (i think that's the 5000 inside width). Are there other options available for a leg holder?

    • @oldschoolcoolgamefan2650
      @oldschoolcoolgamefan2650 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, this will be a huge oversight. I don't think the leg rollers will work with the Ares since the space between the weight stack and the uprights are around 5 inches (look at the 12:43 mark) . The leg holder in the 7:39 mark is an entirely new product that's not even for sale. That leg holder must be available at launch or lat pull down will not work.
      Edit: Let me take that back. If you have the flip down safeties and 2 leg rollers, it will work. The reason why I think it will work is if you look at the Selectorized video (th-cam.com/video/XzvjOaOJBI0/w-d-xo.html) the guy in the video uses two leg rollers.

    as a single cable stack has a 2:1 ratio which is perfect i´m curious if it s possible to get a 4:1 ratio out of it too ? maybe with a diy pulley added to it ?

    • @REPfitness
      @REPfitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard to answer the DIY question since people's creativity is crazy sometimes. I'm sure anything is possible and we'll see some pretty amazing stuff from our customers.

    Another thing is that if iam doing a full body workout or hitt workout the belt squat attachment won't work since it's a pain to attache it and take it off:(
    So iam iam benching and next exercise is legs after benching I have to attach the belt squat to do leg exercise and vice-versa. Not good. Or is there a way I can just leave the belt squat attached to rack without getting in the way of other exercises???
    Sorry iam just looking at negatives but I would like to get answers before I purchase

    Is the pushpin on the trolley the same size for the 4000 and 5000? Just concerned that a 5/8” pin on a 5000 ares would move too much.

    • @REPfitness
      @REPfitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Schwerk, good question. The pins are 5/8th inch on the PR-4000 trolley and 1" on the PR-5000 to ensure a secure fit on both rack's hole spacing. No worries there!

  • @MrSartou
    @MrSartou 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Any chance to sell the Trolley alone for someone with a "custom" "power rack / cable machine / Smith machine" which was build with the PR 5000 for the power rack attachement part.

    Again GREAT PEACE! Will your AB 3000 FID be able to be used for pull ups with the leg rollers towards the Ares. I’m thinking super sets of pull downs and decline sit ups. In a multi user environment not everyone will be happy putting their head where someone else’s butt was just sitting. Yes, I know some might be into that sort of thing! Looking forward to owning both peace’s in place of the Rogue pull up. Footprints and cost are close enough but with MUCH more utility!

    • @REPfitness

      Unfortunately no. Pulleys at certain angles, cable lengths, and we have different heights and widths with welded steel.

  • @futbol1972

    • @jkhristov

      no, their pr-4000 rack has always had westside spacing, the pr5000 has the 1 inch holes with the larger spacing

  • @Chandlerd17

    how much weight are you actually moving with the 310lbs upgrade or what would the stickers on the stacks say down to the heaviest plate? and will their be a way to attach resistance bands to the weight stacks?and does the trolleys on the pr-400 also have a cut-out for the numbers on the uprights?

    • @REPfitness
      @REPfitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So if you upgrade to the (2) 310lb stacks... when you connect the weight stacks as shown in the video... you can access the full 310lbs of pull down/row power. If you're just working off one pulley, you'll be accessing just one 310lb stack at a 2:1 ratio, so 155lbs of pulling power.
      4000 trolley doesn't, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of where it's at since there are some holes on the side that you can see as you lock it in place. The 4000 is the one we tested/used the longest.

    • @Chandlerd17
      @Chandlerd17 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Will there be a way to attach resistance bands on the stacks? It would be nice to have the same trolley for the pr-4000 , i like the idea of having the handle on the side it’s easier access or at least have the cut out.
