I have narrow and slim? feet so when went half size down didnt have problem and because of the sticking out heel part boots looks long to me from the top view
But wearing socks and other stuff. I dont like this shillouette anymore. Sizing is not clear and back of the heel sticking out too much. Maybe get different shoes? Lol
It wouldnt hurt, but probably little heel slips but since it is chealsea boots it would be okay. But im not sure if it is going to make your feet tired

It is rubber but i think it can be waterproof. Good for any season except summer

Oh to add i usually wear size 8 and 9 in sneakers/runners they fit but in boots they‘re always a littlebit to big so
I would say go to your sneakers size, more like 8, to be safe. Worst case you can return it

If you can return for free i probably get 12 and if you dont like how they look, just return and exchange the size.
