Wasn't too bad. The entrance can be tricky as the signs say private property at the gate. If you drive in you'll get past the private property part and there you'll find signs for camping rules.
@Wonger559 do you just keep it in the car? I've never dispersed camped/overlanded but I'm hoping to go soon, just wanna make sure I'm not attracting bears lol
Awesome views , thanks for sharing, like that u heat ur water up before hand. Nice rig and build. Gonna be hitting Grant lake soon myself, hopefully there is some snow
We saw the same thing but it’s only like the first section that I believe belongs to the city of Los Angeles water something. Once you get past that. There are signs with camping rules.
Looks amazing! Was is straight forward to find the trail that led to the lake?

@@Wonger559 Awesome thank you for sharing. I am planning to head out there sometime soon :D hopefully the roads going in are cleared!
Only 4x4 route you took?
@@dstill99 4x4 isnt needed
Xlnt spot , have been there and other coves along the way
Do you know if this area is open/accessible in winter months?
@@vladd5291 I’m not sure. Both times I been there. There wasn’t any snow.
Is your tundra 2wd?
@@stevenprescott7064 my tundra is 4wd.
When you're dispersed camping like this, where do you store your food if theres no bear box?
Never store my food in bear boxes. Rarely do I go to area that have bear boxes so I never thought about it.

@@vincenzohhh guess it depends on the area. I have yet to encounter a bear lol. all the food stays in the front cab area and we sleep in the bed.

Got to Grant Lake last month and it said "private property, not allowed camping" so we turned back
