lol I agree... been living in cold climates all my life and just a common unwritten rule is that you dont crank the starter engine for more than about 5 seconds. Then wait a tiny bit and try again. I feel sorry for some of these cars, especially the Sunny
Haha peugeot makes great winter diesels. I use my 1.6 308 on -15 and it fires up like a petrol! 0:43 from a diesel at -40 i expected the cranking to last a few minutes

fuel consumption, in Russia, more you go east and north, fuel costs more money.
I would think diesels are more durable too, so less likely to leave you stranded. Not sure though.
