What it is basically is staggered, 20m sprints, and you have to get to the line before the beep. If you fail once, its a fault, if you fail twice in a row, your knocked out. Every level, the beeps get closer and closer. It was absolute hell in a gym.
That is if you had distance on them otherwise you're fucked. Humans are a lot slower compared to most animals so the only way they could win is by outsmarting the other animals.

They are dressed like the middle school gym class too. One kid whose parents got his gym clothes at Walmart, that one kid that wears nice athletic gear and thinks he is hot shit but is just eh, and then the one kid who thought he could wear jeans and avoid running the mile and get to sit out. 😂
I did okay at the mile and pacer test, but I dominated at the push-up and sit up test. I was the kid that everyone had to wait for to be done and often times I just gave up after so they wouldn’t have to wait for me
He runs a little stiff, you want to land relatively soft at approximately 180 bpm and 3/4 to the front of the foot. The arms should be a fluid motion with not too much side to side action so that the momentum stays forward. Running is a balance of technique, breathing, and relaxation.

I think personally my best was like 35 , there would be kids in my gym class that would do 120 plus , sometimes the teacher would just eventually end it just because the students were going too long

in jrotc we had annual fitness tests twice a year based on these standards, the idea was to improve on your score by the second semester and use your first semester score as a starting point. my first one as a chubby out of shape kid was pure hell lmao
