@cheesecakewitch and I have been working on this since the book came out! We both love Kagerou Project and felt her and Ayano had some similarities!

obligatory comment of me begging people to get into kagerou project
May I ask What's the best way to get into it. I've listened to the songs (which are bangers) but I want to fully get into it.
@@matsu8518 Kagerou Project is a story that spans over mutiple different types of media. I'd reccomend starting with the light novels, then going to the manga and then finishing it up with the anime, though there's no "wrong" way to get into Kagerou as it's a generally non-linear story that spans over mutiple timelines/timeloops, putting it all together is kind of the fun behind it (or looking up a video guide online lmao)
Just start with what interests you the most and then go from there :)

THIS WAS ALL AMAZING. BUT THE PART THAT REALLY GOT ME WAS WHEN SHE WAS IMAGINING WHAT LIFE WOULD HAVE BEEN LIKE WITH ROOTSPRING. GOD.
And the fact that at the end when rootspring reached out through the earth he saw the same memories
And when Rootspring saw the same memories of their future together...

bristlefrosts death really, really hurt because it was so unexpected. I was expecting shadowsight to die or get a villain arc, or maybe rootspring, but not bristlefrost. as well as just it being a pretty well written scene, especially because,,, she's not coming back like firestar did. she's GONE gone. and she never even got to live without the imposter leaning over her constantly, it's just,,, so sad? honestly I feel like the scene was fitting for her. it tied up her arc nicely, as well as the fact that she spent her last moments reminiscing about what could have been it just. hurt.
on to the animation itself: fantastic. the sketchy style fits the mood so perfectly, the flowers- just. ow ow ow

I hate that I predicted it, Rootspring raised a death flag "After this is over I'm joining thunder clan to be with her" biggest death flag ever.
Bristlefrost's death was just so sad- This song simply fits her so well and the overall aesthetic and animation and everything looks just so- AH, I'm wordless!
I really wish that she'd end up like...in a deep deep place beyond StarClan, where all forgotten cats go, and would help others remember them again, and continue to be a character, because she was a pretty good character, and i actually had to put the book down at her death. But no, i'm sure they just killed her for...whatever reason it was. I don't even know.
So that there was motivation to create a new rule about changing the Clan for the sake of love.
...and it may be that they do not have kits who would have inherited the too strong ability of the Sisters.
You both made a fantastic work! The colors make me think that it was done with pen, and it's so cool.
Also, don't get me wrong, but I believe that if Bristlefrost stayed dead forever, it would be one of the best deaths of Warriors. Like, Starclan was always there to protect everyone, and even Spottedleaf got to enjoy it for a while. Bristlefrost didn't, and now she will never do it.
Like, I am hoping, PLEADING they don’t revive her or reincarnate her, or anything similar. The writing has been getting better again now (as of broken code 6) in my opinion, and I don’t want the quality to go down again

I can't believe they had the guts to actually k*ll her off permanently. And her last moment being feeling love... Gosh, this is heartbreaking. Maybe the books do have a chance to get better. The laws are changing, after all.

Was really hoping Rootspring would be able to dive in and get her since he survived the first time he fell in the dark water by himself due to his love for Bristle. But even if he did save her, she may have still died due to the gash in her neck. Oh well! Shows the Erins have some guts! Will be missing her and again, great job!!❤️
Can someone please make a one hour loop of Bristle doing that sitting in a clearing and just waving her tail please I just need that in my life I keep coming back here to see it and I just need that video to be somewhere
I was just watching this then a theory that I have popped into my head and now it just grew so the theory (it’s more like a headcannon and I like to think it’s cannon) is that reincarnation isn’t all that rare and cats that have been reincarnated from another one have a higher change of having special abilities like I like to imagine that Shadowsight used to be Tigerstar who probably used to be someone like Oakstar and I imagine that the three from Oman of the stars were not the first reincarnations of Lions Roar, Jays Wing and Doves wing and I never really concluded on a solid idea of what caused reincarnation but now I think I do so there are multiple things that can cause it a few of those being having unfinished business as a spirit (probably most common and least likely to have powers and like in Cinderheart they are most likely to still be two very separate souls but in the others they are a bit more combined), being a bad cat and either having a lot of regret in starclan or the more common one where it’s a dark forest cat that truly feels sorry for whatever they did that got them there and because of that they get to be reborn(cats like Oakstar prob had this fate and I also like to think Oak went to the dark forest), they have a want for vengeance that is strong enough to drive them to being reborn maybe with bits of this need form vengeance still in them, being a spirt for a very long time or just being completely forgotten , and another one is dying twice and those who get reborn from this way are most likely to have powers and so I half theorize and half hope that Bristlefrost will be reborn as someone new and we are getting a med cat POV next arc maybe they will figure this out and we will see the new cat with Bristlefrosts mostly broken spirt hovering over it
OMG I'm so happy this song was used, and don't get me started on the animation! I loved this so much and the animation is so good and smooth!! Tysm for this, guys, I saw this in my recommended and got chikls and had them the whole time I watched this! Lovely!!!!

They needed a big death to end the arc, it was either her or squirrelflight.
Yeah, but that’s the whole point. It needed to be surprising and heartbreaking, and I’m glad it was because even the last hope had, honestly, a melancholy but happy ending and dawn of the clans, you still knew Gray Wing would get to see his dead friends again.

All I wanna know is why she disappeared forever, not even starclan. She didn't die twice.
I think it’s because she died in the dark forest
my best guess is that when a cat dreams their way into the dark forest, that thats their actual spirit traversing it. That would explain why Beetlewhisker stopped existing when he was killed in the dark forest, even though he wasnt dead beforehand either. Which makes me curious about what would have happened had Rootspring died there, since he was actually physically there and not dreaming his way in
