You do an amazing job here. Thank you so much. I really like the altamira. I have a n300 cutaway and it has already a great tone. I'll go for a n600.

I love the tone Altamira caught with its guitars. I feel like they actually have a character with brand. Warm tones with like, hard projection. Sound is very 3d and they give great range of dynamics.

When comparing Cedar and Spruce best to do that with the exact same model. Two different companies will brace the soundboard different. Even if the bracing is the same i.e. fan or lattice the ribbing can be different. You have a great technique 👌

thank for the comparison. Still struggling with a decision to buy a spruce top. I have owned many cedar top instrument but never a spruce top. Looking for a clear sustained sound but with the character of a traditional Spanish designed instrument. Many of the Torres designs are made with spruce tops and maple sides and backs.

I'm not sure if Goran is working for China's guitar industries or not. But it is due to him I get to know that China is actually at the forefront of guitar lutherie. He hasn't touched the Yulong Guo (Aiersi) guitar yet, which is the best of Chinese guitars.

Looks like the cedar is not west coast, perhaps Balkan, spruce reminds me of music on a cd and the cedar a high end record player with some low frequency rumble.

@@GoranIvanovic but it sounds very Spanish! It used to be a Spanish brand a few decades ago

@@kant20045 I’m going to say this once it doesn’t matter where it’s made! The only thing that matters is construction, materials, and builder(s).
