As a teenager, I had severe cystic acne all over my back... I "lovingly" referred to it as "bacne". It was embarrassing and humiliating... especially during the summer. I ALWAYS wore a t shirt over my swimsuit. The one time I remember not covering up, I was made so much fun of by some of the popular girls. Their hurtful comments and remarks followed me until I graduated high school... so for 6 years. It warms my heart to see such a caring and compassionate dr caring for this young man! Thank you!!!
Ugh. This makes me so upset for you. I hope those mean girls get to experience something like it for themselves. It will certainly make them more compassionate. I hope you’ve not let that become who you are. Be beautiful!
I had bacne when I was a teen, too. Very little on my face and moderate on my back. Being a popaholic did not help in any way, ugh! I remember doing the same t-shirt thing for many more years then I probably needed to. It does traumatize you and shape your personality dealing with it. There were 5 kids in my family so we were poor and you had to be legit dying before we were going to the Dr, let alone a dermatologist. One day when I was about 18 or 19 I had this brilliant idea to change up the order in which I showered and scrub my back and body AFTER I rinsed the conditioner from my hair. And oh wow, what a difference that made within a month or less. I got fewer and fewer after that and of course your hormones change when you get into your 20's. I haven't had a pimple anywhere on my body in probably 25 years. After so much time goes by it feels like it barely ever happened now. It's funny how you can forget something like that when it consumed so much of my brain every summer. And now..... just a tiny blip on my radar. I have so much empathy for the people that continue to struggle with it throughout their adulthood. Honestly, I'd likely be a different person overall if I was still dealing with it and all the scarring. Scars don't let you forget all the things you'd rather forget. Thank you for sharing your story. I never really comment but your experience was like my own and a little bit of support never hurt anyone. 😊

Going to an acne specialist taught me lots. I learned to get myself in to a "zen" type state of relaxation so I wouldn't wiggle and scream! Really. The pain shots hurt so much I decided to just go without. I would cry but not jiggle and make noise. Thankfully it was all worth it. Greg is a wonderful doctor and you, buddy, are a great patient.

Just an fyi for anyone getting Grad pics. If you choose you can have the acne removed from the pics. It can help you to not feel like that defines who you are. It's a service many photographers offer. I'm Not saying anyone should but it's nice they offer it so you don't look back and be reminded of the physical & emotional pain.
Even if your acne is “clear”, you’ll still be left with scarring and hyperpigmentation. It’s going to be a long process to actually achieve clear skin. But it shouldn’t be a factor that defines who you are as a person.
You need to grow some nails seriously. You pinch your patients. You don't squeeze them. You pinch. There is a huge difference. You actually do MORE HARM AND DAMAGE by pinching because you burst them inside. Stop. Seriously.
It’s amazing how many people on here give advise like they personally know the kid or they give advice like their a doctor and know more than Dr. Pops.

Hi!!! A Brazilian girl here ... I need to tell you how much you have changed ... and now I surely believe you are a excellent doctor ... and an amazing human being !!! It is good tp know that are some genuine and kind person as you are !!! Thank you so much❤
Eu concordo, onde voce mora? Minha namorada mora em Fortaleza. Eu moro nos estados unidos.
I am so incredibly happy for this young man!! You are so extremely tough!!! Handled that session so well.
Your skin is already looking so much better. If no one tells you- I’m proud of you for taking care of your dermatology issues!!!
Nicely said, and I second that.
His improvement is incredible. I know this sounds horrible, but he has great blackheads for TH-cam videos. Can't wait to see the next video and how much things improve.
So excited to see another video of this patient. Major improvement already. Thanks for sharing.
I really appreciate getting the follow up videos, major improvement from the 1st time!
I’ve noticed for months that there isn’t that many pimple popping and I really miss them. I really like that you use cotton q-tips instead of the instrument. Keep popping, I love it! 💕
He is such a handsome young man regardless, this has to increase his confidence so much. It’s amazing the difference already! I hope we get to see a picture further on.
IMO Greg Lynch is by far the best dermatologist or esthetician here on TH-cam. Always gets the job done and does a thorough job.
Holy wow Greg this clients skin looks absolutely incredible!!!!! He must be so stoked about the progress that you both have made soo awesome to see!!
Great progress! The treatment means so much to this young man! My son had severe acne, wish you had been around back then. It really took a toll on his mental health, self worth and confidence.

I don't prefer channels over the other when I follow more than one. I either like it or I don't 🤷♀️ everyone, doctors included, does things differently, and it either works or it doesn't. Doctor Popzit And Dr. Lee are both amazing doctors who are very effective at what they do. Much love Doc!
Not a dr.
He is looking so, so much better. Hope he is clear for his graduation pictures. Thank you for a great job always. Thank the patient for allowing us to follow his transformation. ❤😊

🎉
You need to grow some nails seriously. You pinch your patients. You don't squeeze them. You pinch. There is a huge difference. You actually do MORE HARM AND DAMAGE by pinching because you burst them inside. Stop. Seriously.
It’s amazing how many people on here give advise like they personally know the kid or they give advice like their a doctor and know more than Dr. Pops.
I’m glad to see his skin coming along so well. Awesome job Mr PopZit!
I agree, Doctor! I love seeing the transformation. A special thank you to this young man for sharing his journey because it can bring hope and awareness to people who are dealing with similar situations.
He is not a doctor.
He is a Dermatology Practical Assistant, sort of like a Nurse Practitioner but ore autonomic.
@@dawnmason9558nothing to do with a nurse, except working place. It's like comparing an Austronauts job, to the engineering team. In the medicine tech tree, he is below a Dr. He can prescribe, but I'd guess not everything. Maybe even Tramadol. Comparable to a dentist.
The anticipation waiting was terrible!! I was so excited for this video to drop I even woke up in the middle of the night to check. Thank you Mr Beauty is Pain for sharing your journey with us. You are on the right road to skin health 😊
For those who want to skip the blurriness for whatever reason jump to 3:01 Doc gets is fixed right about there. Happy watching!
And PT you looking so much healthier keep it up gonna be no time before this all just a memory!
Thank you for teaching and explaining as you work on your patients!!
That truly keeps me coming back for more ❤
This guy...what a trooper!😮 And Mr. Popzit, getting the job well done as per usual. Loving this guy and his pop hits❤
I love seeing the improvement and transition. He's looking great. I know he must be getting happier and happier!
What a brave young man to endure these procedures and to share his journey. He's such an attractive young man, and I hope he understands his acne does NOT take away from that. I'm so excited for his improvement and applaud him for his perseverance. Great job done by all !!!❤
So glad you're helping this young man, and thanks for letting us share his journey !!!
You have such a kind personality. Enjoy watching your pops very much
I salute this young man . I had severe acne as a teenager and it was no fun. I am so happy he is receiving this care and his courage is an example we can all follow.
I love this patient. I call him "Beauty is Pain" and I think he is very strong. My husband had acne when I first met him and I barely saw it I just loved him.
He’s so patient and mild spirited! I’m so glad he’s getting the proper treatment 😊
❤ 12:56 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 13:03 13:05 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
Bravo to your patient for sharing his treatment sessions. Hopefully others will see this and seek treatment instead of living with it. Great job explaining everything to us viewers. Best wishes to your patient.
So glad I found your channel. Your work is excellent and your commentary is so educational. You have great rapport with your patients.
These people that try to tell you how to do your job need to remember that YOU are the one with the NP degree and know how to perform these surgeries and extractions . My mom always told me , If you can’t say anything nice then don’t speak at all
Love the videos and as always great job!!!!!
My Mother as well. Glad to hear someone else describing learning manners as a child. Kids don't think of manners as a positive trait anymore. This generation has to learn the very hardest way these days.
I CAN see the difference already! So glad he came to you Greg. Keep up the great work! Thanks so much to both of you for sharing.✌️❤️🙏🇨🇦
Good looking patient ! The before and after pictures show a huge improvement in his skin . Between the extractions and the medication he can look forward to soon having a smooth completion. Good choice on his part for taking care of himself before scarring set in. Thanks Greg ;-)
He’s doing so good! I’m glad he’s keeping up with the home treatment. It really shows! Thanks to your patient for sharing!
Wow, I can't believe how much his skin has improved since last session. I think he will be looking terrific in no time! Thank you for sharing your skin healing journey
Excellent work PopZ! Thanks to your patient for allowing us to see his improvement! Pls keep the updates coming on him! I hope this young man can encourage others to seek successful, gentle, professional treatment for acne! 😊
This dude is gonna make you famous! What a difference so far!!
What an awesome young man. That had to be painful, but Greg is so amazing with his patients. Thanks for sharing Greg!❤️
Aww, what a trooper! He seems so sweet but also so strong!! 💪🏻 Proud of you, bro!
Thank you to this young man and to Dr. Greg of course for sharing this! (And for enduring it!! Seriously, what a trooper!!)
I love how you help people with acne. My grandson is 29 now but he needed help with his acne in his teen until his mid-20s. He didn't get help and it just could have been different. You are definitely a pro. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
He took it like a champ! At the end there I know that had to hurt. I hope he is thrilled with the results and proud of himself for sticking with everything.
I am so happy for this young man, his skin looks so much better! Thank you for letting all of us follow your journey to healed skin. You’re very brave to share and I again thank you and wish you continued success. 💗
So good to see how much difference this is making to this lovely young gent. Glad he found Greg! Many thanks to him for lowing us to see his treatment and to Greg for explaining the steps as he goes, thanks to you both 👏👏👏

Fantastic results already and it’s wonderful to see the progress of this young man as well as hearing his positive attitude throughout what is a very uncomfortable process. Thank you Greg for your dedication to your patients and also for teaching the medical community and the rest of us how to properly treat the different presentations of the inflammatory nodules as opposed to the white and black heads. I never knew that I could do more damage to something inflamed but thanks to you now I know. A big thank you to your patient for sharing his progress and I look forward to seeing even more incredible results 🙏👍
The one thing he used as thumbnail, he didn't work on. Fantastic.

An absolute hero this young man, great pain tolerance. A great procedure each time Greg, you're so gentle. ❤❤❤
2:55 I’m watching this series again. One of my favs! What I appreciate is that you explain the patients challenges and the treatment possibilities. I also think it’s great that you explain the medical terms for the conditions. Great job as always! You could teach…maybe in the future?
Thank you SO much to your patient for sharing. He is clearing up and looking great!
Thanks to the patient for allowing us to watch this. He's doing so good and I look forward to him being clear. Thanks Doc, your work is amazing.
The progress since the first visit is remarkable! Thank you to your patient for sharing with us. I’m looking forward to the next visit!
Poor baby, all those onions! No seriously, what a trooper he is, I hope he got to have a restful day and a nice meal after all that. He really kept his chin up through all that pain and discomfort, it hurt my heart but I hope he knows all these strangers see that and are proud of him! I sure am!
He is such a nice young man!! I'm so glad that you are able to help him. He is also very handsome and I hope he knows it. I hope he hasn't let the acne steal his confidence. He has stunning features and is absolutely gorgeous!!
This has been an awesome journey. The difference in before to now is amazing
HUGE improvement, Greg - nice job - and that young man has some guts, because a lot of those really had to hurt!
Thank you to this young man for sharing his journey with us, his skin is looking so much better already 😊. One thing I am jealous of is his gorgeous, thick hair! Thanks also to you, Greg as always for being so kind, caring & compassionate with your patients & also for sharing your videos with us 🥰

Thanks for helping this handsome young man. I had severe acne and saw a dermatologist.❤
I have been dealing with cystic acne for 11 years now, so I know the stress these patients must be going through. I just posted a vid on my TH-cam to show my acne throughout the years. I don't know many people who have been dealing with acne for such a long time. I hope in 2024 I can cure my acne. I am going to be trying lots of treatments this year and documenting them on my page so people can hopefully see what can work. Good luck to everyone fighting this condition!
Don't waste time and gather scars. Accutane is the only thing that works.
I pray that the cure comes to you. Id highly recommend trying a strict diet for i found that was the major cause for my acne when i was younger. Limit the sugar. High meat based. Best of luck to you
have you tried benzoyl peroxide? thats the only thing that stops my cysts
It's so cool to see the huge improvement on this guy!!! So happy for him!!
What a fantastic transformation on your skin from the first treatment. Looking good. Thank you for sharing your journey with us x
This was exciting to watch, but that poor patient! Glad he is being treated by you. Thanks to you and him ❤
Great video, and thanks to him for sharing. I enjoy seeing the progress and improvement of each visit. You're coming along just fine! Keep up the program. You're doing great!
This was such a thorough extraction, you’re attention to detail is amazing.
I think this client’s progress is almost unbelievable. He’s a handsome young man with with a great personality. A winning charmer too.
This has got to be my favorite client ever. I can’t imagine how proud his parents are of him
He never complains, he just smiles.
Att: if you find you’re counting the number of extractions, seek help that’s not normal. 😳😆♥️
I appreciate seeing the transitions of the skin. Thank you to this young man and to you for sharing.
Thanks to the young man for sharing his journey! Having had cystic acne as a teen I winced every time you got near an inflamed nodule, those hurt just to see them. So glad the Retin-A and extractions are helping!
I like to see the progress. You can see their confidence blossom. 😊❤
He look so much better. Can’t wait to see him next time!! Great job doc!!
I love watching MPZ with this patient. They have such a good rapport. And the patient gets great results 😊
Really appreciate seeing the treatment process. I think that it is really important for patients and individuals suffering from these conditions to hear the discussing of the medications used, proper cleaning in between visits, etc. People need to see change to have true hope.
His skin is looking great! Can't wait to see him cleared up! 🖤
Wonderful to see his skin! The inflammation is mostly gone. Can't wait to see his next session ❤
Love this channel. Just found out about this channel s couple hrs ago and I'm addicted. The professionalism is amazing.
He’s looking so much better! You’re doing a great job. He’s a good looking guy. He deserves to have a smooth face! Good luck!
He looks so much better!! Amazing job. I’m glad he came to you and hopefully will get it under control ❤️ Thankful he allows you to film for us.
