Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the seventh main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, following 2008's Grand Theft Auto IV, and the fifteenth installment overall. Set within the fictional state of San Andreas, based in Southern California, the single-player story follows three protagonists-retired bank robber Michael De Santa, street gangster Franklin Clinton, and drug dealer and gunrunner Trevor Philips-and their attempts to commit heists while under pressure from a corrupt government agency and powerful criminals. The open-world design lets players freely roam San Andreas' open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos, based on Los Angeles.
The game is played from either a third-person or first-person perspective, and its world is navigated on foot and by vehicle. Players control the three lead protagonists throughout single-player and switch among them, both during and outside missions. The story is centered on the heist sequences, and many missions involve shooting and driving gameplay. A "wanted" system governs the aggression of law enforcement response to players who commit crimes. Grand Theft Auto Online, the game's online multiplayer mode, lets up to 30 players engage in a variety of different cooperative and competitive game modes.

The 2 most loved characters in the game. Franklin and Lamar are the best duo in GTA history. So much comedic relief. Can’t forget about Chop, would love to see them again just like on The Contract online dlc.

"It's Trevor" "do the Trevor voice" it's like how some celebrities are only remembered as one character only (Bryan Cranston as Walter white and Abram something as Rick grimes) to bad Steven got annoyed by it but I'll still respect him because I know being known for one thing sucks.

Mann, my first exposure to Slink was through All Def Digital, so it was such a pleasant surprise to hear him in GTAV when I get into it many many years after launch. These two are absolute legends!

What Gta has taught me is that personalities MAKE games like Lamars voice actor, little Jacob , Niko , Franklin...
The personalities are amazing and make the game so much better, like games should have a movie element to it for example if you put Danny Trejo in a game it just makes your game instantly way better...
Imagine these two in a Friday like movie, that would be awesome. They could be the modern day Cheech and Chong and star in a series of movies together.
Franklin is definitely ice cube's Craig and lamar is a combination of smokey and daedae

I can't wait to play as Lucia and Jason in gta 6! Not sure how I feel about the red dead 2 weapon system being brought to gta but as long as your weapons spawn in the trunk of your preferred car that's all that matters, from what I've seen from the drop physics I'm very impressed
If you have a heist or something, you can put a shotgun and a sniper to Lucia, and a assault rifle to Jason, and u can switch between them (if u are inside a building play as Lucia with shotgun and if u are outside play as jason with rifle and if you need to kill someone far away switch back to lucia with the sniper or something like that) i have a feeling that the gameplay its gonna be slower than gta 5, no helicopters everywhere, no war on the street, no bazookas, no big explosions, at the dinner robbery the cops didn't attack because you have civilians inside, i hope they keep it that way because in gta 5 you talk to a cop you get 1 star and they start shooting you for no reason

I worked at a Jimmy Johns next to a Gamestop when GTA5 came out. We traded a bunch of party platters for the crowd and sandwiches for the Gamestop employees to skip the line and walk out first with our collectors editions for Ps3. Lmao I'll never forget how mad those people in line were when we were walking through the parking lot. It was great

If they ever *COMPLETELY* remade San Andreas from the ground up... Would be nice if they did some DLCs like in GTA 4, where you play a different character. Play as Franklin or Lamar as their younger self, showing how they met and got close and all that.

Doesn't have to be in the same time. They could have a slightly modified, slightly modernized version of the map for the DLC, with some shops replaced, some newer buildings mixed in with the old, newer cars mixed with the old. Transitional period, but still mostly the same aesthetic. Just enough changes to show some time's passed since CJ's story.

Shawn "Solo" Fonteño was a random Families boy in GTA: SA. Gerald "Slink" JohnSon could be another random Families boy of the same model in GTA: SA. RockStar and Grove Street should've added that in the DeFinitive Edition. They did a good job making it look like GTA 4.

Probably won’t show up in the story mode for GTA 6 since that is likely already be set in stone, but it’ll be a crime if these two don’t show up in the online mode at some point. They’ve definitely become the most iconic characters in the series!
