Each of Duke's big runs including the first TD was a result of clear missed holding calls. Each play the player attempting to keep outside containment was being held...granted the player could have been in better position but 4 or 5 missed calls where the action was taking place is too many.

The rush up QB sneak is really not a good play for us. Our offense is so dynamic and you are essentially screaming what you are doing to the other team. Then the 4th and 1 run up the middle from shotgun was bad also. Travis has to keep that and run for first down. The game was much closer then it should have been but I’m glad we pulled away in the 4th.

Duke played a whale of a game against Florida State for about three quarters. In that 4th quarter the defense looked totally drained., hands on hips, and exhausted stares into the expanse of the field as they labored to the finish. And with Riley further injuring himself, it was just a bad look all the way around for the bluebloods. Duke's going into the next game extremely beat up and with little time to recover from this bad loss.
