Trying all the dirty tricks has an expected value of 3.36 successfully going off. About half... Seems like a decent way to go. Just roll when it might be helpful but don't plan for it at all.
The Dirty trick roll resets every round not every turn, venomous weapons can only be done on your turn, but the otherwise could be attempted twice before the count resets, So uou could attempt 7 tricks before the counter resets next round.
Some match ups the VEW will not matter as much like against zombies or other bad save armies, then you get to spam. Against S2D and SCE VEW will be more important.
The flavor is way better, I would forget to use the 3e version. I think mannok will be bad regardless but we can hope
Do we know if Sneaky Sneakin can be used on a unit that retreated? Does it have to be before regular movement abilities and/or is there a provision in the core rules against this?

I think the tricks encourage us to take second in the battle round even harder.
Teleports and fights last are so much more powerful in your opponent's turn so having those as our first two tricks in a round, then spamming on our turn feels like the play to me.
You'll be missing VEW a lot of the game. I think VEW might be our most important one.
@@MossDogAoS with VEW locked to infantry we should have hammers that don't need it (mirebrute, sludgeraker, vulchaboss?). And noisy racket isn't locked to infantry. Having a 2+ or 3+ fights last on a sludgeraker makes counter charging incredibly difficult.
Plus with boltboys probably moving to auto wounds instead of mortals it might be less valuable overall.

a condition to target the unit as a part of the sneak dirty trick is a unit not in combat fyi. They can’t be removed from combat in that way. However I suppose you could fall back then attempt it but that is weaker.

@@nockcraftg.6798it’s a new command ability that replaces Unleash Hell, a command ability that allowed you to shoot at -1 to hit in reaction to a charge.
