For some reason, this seems like one of those songs that seems bright and happy, but turns out to have some horrible and/or depressing meaning behind it. Any explanations? Maybe I'm just overthinking it. All I can think of is that maybe she becomes obsessed with the internet and fiction to the point where her daydreams become so vivid, she mistakes them for real life. She lives in the happy world of her delusions, which she prefers over the boring real world.
Thats definitely it. Esp with the stark contrast between her internet adventures and her sitting in front of the computer in a dark room. Plus calling real life monochrome until you die, that it makes her LOL. And that she'd rather live in the internet. This do be getting more relevant with the rise of dysfunctional egirls and eboys with poor use of social media as a coping mechanism and increasingly toxic behavior doe
this song sounds like the artist was making it to vent with being on the internet too much, and wishing you where fictional so bad. i can relate. i empathize with them.
I can't get enough of how beautiful the art in this video is. As expected of Honyalala (whom I've been following ever since DRAMAtical Murder uwu) GJ Honyalala-sama!
Am I the only one feeling freaked out? This song feels so lively but also like, sinister?? Like hey rabbit coloured pink, let's just run in the streets barefoot after realizing that reality is just a mess. Sure I'll have a chocolate bathtub, that's not weird.... right?
To be honest, the whole song is off. Don't get me wrong i love this song but the vibe it gives off is quite creepy, its so lively to the point where it starts to get creepy, this is not even considering the visuals which eventually confirms it as she's eating the finger or what looks like one hahaha whether she realises it or not or simply doesn't care is another matter
I think Noiz's character from Dramatical Murder is inspried from this song,He relates to something like enjoyment of using internet(you can do lots of things that you can't in real life).I mean,he like playing Rhyme because he can't feel pain in real life. His character is related to 'bunny'.The game and this mv even share the same artist.
Oh wow this sing is actually so deep *A* I didn't realise it when I first heard it ♥ I perhaps think that the bunny , due to her looking so much like Miku, is perhaps a computer avatar she made of herself, someone she can pretend to be, and have fun being rather than having to face the world.
I've been listening to this for a decade but never in my mind this feels creepy, sad or depressing at all. You guys have been on the internet for waaay too long, reading between the lines like that like its a conspiracy theory.
I've been looking at the comments, and it's really creeping me out how little anybody understands about this song, and this video. In the beginning, when she gets off of the computer, she really doesn't. It's about the intoxication of the internet, and how it harms people. She goes into this fantastic world where anything is possible, and she lives out her fantasy, but they make sure to show her at the computer throughout the video as well.
It sounds to me like a song about a little girl who ate too many sweets before she went to bed, and had a dream about running away from home to a dreamworld.
Fetal position. That's how you know this is bad. Internet. "I've decided! I'll live here!" Sound like anyone you know? Here's a freebie: the chocolate bathtub is a casket. It's also an internet culture reference. Her computer is a rabbit. Her stuffed toy is a rabbit. She thinks of herself as the rabbit. The rabbit is her ego-projected self-image. Okay, think hard. Where have you heard someone ask for "sauce" on "caramel pancakes" before? It's not all depressing-Miku unmistakably smiles once in the video. Can you find it? What is she doing? This music video has so many layers. TL;DR Miku is Futaba Sakura.
Ok for those who didn't notice,THIS SONG IS SAD AS FUCK,really if you think this is "OMG SO CUTE" please read the lyrics with more attention and look at the PV with more attention then you will see why this song is so sadly cheerful -.-"
@marixdella You remind me of one of my friends. She read a poem by an author (another friend) that usually writes really deep stuff, and put a lot of deep input into this silly little poem. She eventually told the author how much she loved her "new deep poem" even if it was short. The author looked her in the eye, looking completely confused and said. 'Uh, I was just goofing around with that one, it... Doesn't mean anything at all.. Yes. Really"
I think this song is about the good side of the Internet, Miku loves the 'sweets(Meaning the great things)' and wishes to stay there, saying goodbye to her past. But in the end, she discovers about being hurt by not being in reality, so that is why she ate Bunny-girl.
My view: An insomnic girl turns off her computer, and runs off into a dream. In her dream her stuffed toy comes to life as a best friend. In this fantasy EVERYTHING is made of candy, and the whole world she has now found is delightful, and inspired by something she saw on the internet, which is why she "Thanks it kindly"... She is happy, and wants to stay, but knows she can't, which is why she looks unhappy in some scenes. Its a happy pipe dream, but it must end, but not without lots of laugh :)
+Neko_Hatsune_Chiharu it's was actually the sole reason I bought the game after playing it on the demo, and lead me into the world of Hatsune Miku on TH-cam :)
ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG MY GOOOOD!!! My favorite song from hatsune Miku Project Mirai in 3DS How is possible this beautiful song is heeeeere. I WILL BUY THE GAME RIGHT NOW!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG :)
I think... the candy represents... fun,joy and happiness.and how when she uses the computer and talks to people it feels so real. So it's like she can taste the "candy" which is "happiness"
+Mohammad Alawadhi actually i think this song is about a person (in that case Miku) being everyday on internet and forgetting that have a world outside the internet........if what im saying is right i can relate to that song lol xD
This song could definitely be a comentary on today's society and the internet. One of the major themes I picked up on was that of Miku eating sweets. I think they might represent the way our society devours new media as soon as we get a hold of it. She keeps searching for new sweets which could symbolize the way once we find something interesting, we hunger for more. At the end where she eats the bunny shows how she's devouring so much media that she is, in a sense, consuming her rational self.
hahahaNOPE It's absolutely not about diabetes. (nice spelling there my sir). It's about wanting to run away from reality, it's meant to be the internet in this one. The internet is fantasitic = all the sweets and bows and bubbles.
I was listening to this on my mp3 last night.Right when she sang"where is this half past 2am?" i looked at the clock and it said 02:30!That's kinda scary!!XD
As for her "eating the bunny" Note: The bunny girl is her height and size. The little itty bitty bunny on the pancakes is far from that. Ever heard of marzipan you guys?! Honestly, "edible decorations" You know, the little statues on wedding cakes? They get eaten too sometimes. :/
Ummm, i've only ever ordered figs from Amazon and I haven't received a bootleg yet... Although you should check the sellers profiles and stuff to see what they are selling is the real deal, so you still need to be careful >_<
@redfairy7 Maybe creepy was the wrong word. I don't know, I just thought that the comments were a little on the superficial side, when it delves a bit deeper. You know?
There is a reason that she barely smiles in the video. She's become desensitized by the instantaneous nature of this fantasy world. She never REALLY "lols" anymore. Get it? The sweets are representative of the various "goodies" that one may find on the net. She decides to stay, because the real world has become less interesting. It's supposed to be creepy, but all I see are comments about wanting to live "there" and it being cute!
For some reason, this seems like one of those songs that seems bright and happy, but turns out to have some horrible and/or depressing meaning behind it. Any explanations? Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

I think you just explained my life.
u rite
you're kinda overthinking it there, bud.
And even Miku eating a Living Human rabbit miku
this song sounds like the artist was making it to vent with being on the internet too much, and wishing you where fictional so bad. i can relate. i empathize with them.
Yes me too can relate
I can't get enough of how beautiful the art in this video is. As expected of Honyalala (whom I've been following ever since DRAMAtical Murder uwu)
GJ Honyalala-sama!
I went on their pixv... wasn't expected to see yaoi guess I'll have to be gay now
After almost six years, I am only just realizing this now! I'm about to have a stroke lol
You should get the figure that is based off this song! Its on amazon
Its based off of the scene from 1:16
I love how everyone in the comment section unanimously agrees this song is quite creepy.
Am I the only one feeling freaked out? This song feels so lively but also like, sinister?? Like hey rabbit coloured pink, let's just run in the streets barefoot after realizing that reality is just a mess. Sure I'll have a chocolate bathtub, that's not weird.... right?

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure it's intentional
It was so trippy seeing Honyalala's art animated...
I belive that this video is representing how much the internet has in impact in you. miku Was going nuts thinking that The rabbit was a real person.

Oh wow this sing is actually so deep *A* I didn't realise it when I first heard it ♥
I perhaps think that the bunny , due to her looking so much like Miku, is perhaps a computer avatar she made of herself, someone she can pretend to be, and have fun being rather than having to face the world.
Has anyone noticed how old this song is? Damn! XD

Arissa Yuki Or miku is promoting cannibalism
Arissa Yuki Or miku is promoting cannibalism
I've been listening to this for a decade but never in my mind this feels creepy, sad or depressing at all.
You guys have been on the internet for waaay too long, reading between the lines like that like its a conspiracy theory.
This video always makes me feel all warm, fuzzy...AND sweet inside...
I've been looking at the comments, and it's really creeping me out how little anybody understands about this song, and this video. xddddddddddddd
This video is what happens when you give Miku acid
It sounds to me like a song about a little girl who ate too many sweets before she went to bed, and had a dream about running away from home to a dreamworld.

i heard this without the video or lyrics at first and it's just off? like sure LOL is the title and bunnies and bubbles but it feels sad
Ok for those who didn't notice,THIS SONG IS SAD AS FUCK,really if you think this is "OMG SO CUTE" please read the lyrics with more attention and look at the PV with more attention then you will see why this song is so sadly cheerful -.-"
Personally, I can relate to this song...
Me too
I am the only one that is reminded of DRAMAtical Murder because of the art style?
same artist!
It is?
+Feng Hai it is!
This is why being obsessed with your computer is bad, kids.
@marixdella
You remind me of one of my friends.

2:45 HOLY SHIT SHE ATE A FUCKING HUMAN WTF
Where is the human-
I love the style of this one! Also love the song :)

Project Diva Megamix brought me here.
The art is awesome since it's made by the same artist who drew DRAMAtical Murder.
Anyone Here because of project Mirai DX
+Neko_Hatsune_Chiharu ME
+Neko_Hatsune_Chiharu it's was actually the sole reason I bought the game after playing it on the demo, and lead me into the world of Hatsune Miku on TH-cam :)

Up till now I NEVER knew she said any English words at all in this song. She sneeky when it comes to English words in her songs

This is like my time machine. I remembered how it feels like to be the past me.
If the year have a ending theme, this will perfect
Omfg the dmmd style
Wow. The only thing I can say is LOL. Good translation as usual.
This is beautiful. Can't say no more, but it is. It is. It is.
It's a platonic sort of force
But then again, so is everything.
If she ate the bunny why is she still carrying it around with her!?
fun fact: this is the artist for Dramatical Murder xD
ok i can't lie, but that was the most amazing vid i've ever did seen
ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG MY GOOOOD!!! My favorite song from hatsune Miku Project Mirai in 3DS How is possible this beautiful song is heeeeere. I WILL BUY THE GAME RIGHT NOW!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG :)

i don't fuckin trust that rabbit
Haha, really? Thank you! :) But seriously though, a lot of these theories people have are very interesting. I wish I was that insightful.
This song creeps me out for song reason
+Mohammad Alawadhi Oh my God. I never saw it that way. You're on to something here!
+Mohammad Alawadhi JEEZ LOUISE everything people don't know the meaning of becomes about "rape" for some reason, it doesnt have to be Q_Q
+Mohammad Alawadhi actually i think this song is about a person (in that case Miku) being everyday on internet and forgetting that have a world outside the internet........if what im saying is right i can relate to that song lol xD

Where is honyarara now?

This song is really fun
gee...Miku just transformed LOL into a cute word
hahahaNOPE
It's absolutely not about diabetes. (nice spelling there my sir). It's about wanting to run away from reality, it's meant to be the internet in this one. The internet is fantasitic = all the sweets and bows and bubbles.
Oh I get it, at the end, it sais 'subbed by RENA' and the username of this uploader is 'take it all home' XD
I was listening to this on my mp3 last night.Right when she sang"where is this half past 2am?" i looked at the clock and it said 02:30!That's kinda scary!!XD
miku is the bunny girl.. shes eating at herself, her real self
Wow, everyone's finding such deep meanings!
Reminds me of "The secret" ( A poem I read in freshman year)
My own interpretation is coming up next: XD
Miku nooo it's the rabbit from silent hill!
As for her "eating the bunny"
Note:
The bunny girl is her height and size.
The little itty bitty bunny on the pancakes is far from that.
Ever heard of marzipan you guys?!
Honestly, "edible decorations"
You know, the little statues on wedding cakes?
They get eaten too sometimes. :/
THERES A PULLIP FOR THIS
preordeeeeeeerrrrrrrr
i love this song so much
This sog reminds me of a paradise..
i love her twin tails!! its a bit different in this video..but its cute as always!! >w
Why do I think this song has a dark background?

"ill give you lots of flan" thank you miku.
Is this a song about someone becoming a Hikimori?
Suppose be a song called LOL... but this song makes me feel kind if sad
this would be a great opening song for an anime
@PotatoUPrincess o.o do you/did you take IB English? cuz tht was awesome. :)
@PotatoUPrincess That.... was so deep.
i love to listen to this song at 3 o'clock in the morning because i'm still awake surfing on the internet... lol.... that's not even funny
Ummm, i've only ever ordered figs from Amazon and I haven't received a bootleg yet... Although you should check the sellers profiles and stuff to see what they are selling is the real deal, so you still need to be careful >_<
miku only GIVES LOL, but doesnt do it herself. I wanna make fanart of the usagi miku ;D
Actually, I think this song is simply about having fun.
She ate the bunny! D:
For some reason the song makes me sad...
my god, i havn't danced to this in nearly a year
why does every version of this have that horrible distortion effect
it makes my 200 dollar headphones sound like 10 dollar headphones
Interesting... I like it!! :D
I think that this song is about being dope while eating sweets (?
@redfairy7 Maybe creepy was the wrong word. I don't know, I just thought that the comments were a little on the superficial side, when it delves a bit deeper. You know?
she already is in this vid
Pullip Hatsune Miku Lol!
@Mejwan yes, I think she actually did ^^'''
this is from VOCALOID2!
love this song x1000... tbh it really badly needs thumping bass though.
at the start of this i had my head phones on full >_
There is a reason that she barely smiles in the video. She's become desensitized by the instantaneous nature of this fantasy world. She never REALLY "lols" anymore. Get it? The sweets are representative of the various "goodies" that one may find on the net. She decides to stay, because the real world has become less interesting. It's supposed to be creepy, but all I see are comments about wanting to live "there" and it being cute!
I'd be funner if she said "I'll make you laugh out loud!"
Although, Ebay isn't really a good place to order from imo. Lots of sellers sell bootlegs.
