Man watching this now after COVID I can imagine how heartbreaking it must have been for Ailee to have to delay or have her entire NA debut in jeopardy.
God I melt everytime I hear Ailee sing anything from Beyonce, Alicia, or Whitney. She has the same emotion and soul in her singing as them and it sends shivers down my spine everytime. So beautiful

what eric said about finally having the chance to do stuff in the states, that touched me. Cuz as a fellow Korean American, the idea of going to Korea to pursue a dream is amazing but also daunting since you look like everyone but youre still "american" at heart. you grew up here and lived here. thats exactly how I felt when I went to Korea.

I can totally relate to this... I miss old school KPOP too and have had a slightly hard time finding groups that I LOVE (enough to stan) with 3rd-4th gen. I do love kpop as a whole but 2nd gen kpop was golden 🥺💎

It’s hard to be a fan from second/third generation. It’s hard to keep up with all the new groups and seeing our favorite groups break up. And seeing all the new fans not even know or give respect to the older groups. Coming in asa second gen fan, I easily caught up with the 1st generation but now there is so much history. I really miss the old Kpop

The funniest thing about the Y2K scare was that the original reason for it was real. The computer number thing resetting to zero and breaking a bunch of stuff was 100% what the situation was. However, a bunch of coders (many of whom are obviously still alive to talk about it) spent like all of 1999 going in and fixing the code so those problems wouldn't happen. It was fixed and solved before it turned to the year 2000, but all the panic and conspiracy theories had already got out of control at that point. But yes, computer systems all crashing and malfunctioning because they weren't originally coded to count the date that high was actually what was going to happen if coders didn't spend all that time fixing everything. If it did happen it wouldn't have caused the end of the world, just a lot of inconvenience and some safety concerns with anything digital or controlled by something digital All the end of the world, planes are going to fall out of the sky, nukes will go off apocalypse stuff was just hysteria nonsense lol.
This is so true. People went all crazy and when nothing happened, they thought it was hoax and a hype, not thinking of the coders who actually drilled their fingers on their keyboards just to stop what could have been the worse digital mess ever.
It’s so eerie listening to this at 3-16-2021 .. they were talking about Y2K i guess what we thought will happen in Y2K is a piece of cake what we are going through..
Ailee is so underrated. She has a nice vocal distortion.
