Wow, an indie made a Tactics Ogre game, it seems like everyone forgot about that series!

I wondered if anyone else saw the influence besides me. Ogre Battle 64 was my favorite console game before I migrated to PC. Wishlisted!

Yep. It feels like a spiritual successor in many ways.

I wasn't sure if this type of game would be something I would enjoy, like you were saying at the start of the video, but I have really enjoyed it! Upgrading the unit classes is a lot of fun and optimizing the items, squads and traits. fun stuff.

If you can find a 3DS the fire Emblem saga is the best investment EVER!. You can make matches marry you characters and make Unique children. They nailed this kind of game

Getting the Shining Force vibe, with a twist, from this one.

I would have said "faithlessness" at that starting quiz. What we view as poverty now was pretty much the entire world's baseline even 200 years ago. Poverty is just the lower strata of people, and we can always uplift their means of living.
American poverty is not the same as Brazilian poverty or Mexican poverty.
Now what crumbles societies is a lack of faith. In any respect. No faith in a god, in the ruling class, in their institutions, in their government, etc. Once people have no faith in their existence that's when trouble starts.

I’m still standing by my poverty choice. That lack of faith stems from something and wealth inequality has shown what it can do in the past (Rome, for instance)

@@Nookrium Rome got shafted by a lot of things. It wasn't simply that there was unequal wealth distribution that caused its collapse. A lot of it had to do with promiscuity and a devolution of culture and civility.
People start revolting when their perceived systems of power start to fail them. People don't revolt over being poor, they revolt when their faith in being able to provide for them and their families dies. Whether that be economic or a mistrust in the ruling powers that be.
I dunno, dude. That's an all to real question to slap into a video game. XD
