Fuchs is a great clarinetist - his interpretation of the Schumann Fantasiestücke is beautifully expressive communicating the ultra´romantic character of the music. Narihito Mukeda is a fine pianist and an able collaborator for this music. They are not afraid to tackle the extremes of dynamics and emotions which are an essential characteristic of this music. This may be the best performance of this work on TH-cam.

Beautifully playing by Wenzel Fuchs - great phrasing, sweet legato and romantic dynamic changes in the Brahms. Would love to hear the rest of the sonata, his clarinet sounds wonderful.

Fuks is an excelent clarinetist. But it easy to get mistakes at his performances. This for exemplo there is problems of tune in some moments. If some whatch his playing on pagina dalbum by michele magani it is visible a frase mistake. I admire him, but it is not the best on youtube.
