- Hi everyone! This is my arrangement of the main theme to Red Orchestra 2, played by ear. I added some strings to make it sound closer to the original. I had to post this video two times, and it's still not showing up in the subscription box, don't know what's happening...

Never have I played a war game that makes me feel emotional about war and killing.
This game tells us how bad war really is and how many tears it can bring when you see your fellow comrades cry for help as they are knocking on heaven's door. It even makes me feel bad at shooting and killing my enemies.
This game is a masterpiece and I really want a 3rd.
I want third game to be in Berlin.

+Dean Nagaki me too.I remember once when I was a german raw recruit on the bridges of druzhina map and I ran out of ammo,really fast.I was behind enemy lines by accident,and I hid into a house.I could hear Russian screams passing me...Then this one sniper dude comes in the same house I was in,sees me but I could not shoot since i had no ammo.We just looked at each other.

This game was made to mean to immerse you in the horrors of WWII, it was meant to scare you. Or if you're winning the match feel patriotic for the country... then deal with PTSD a few years after.
Not only a good tribute to Red Orchestra 2 but a great tribute to those who fought through WWII especially on the Eastern Front!

Real name of soundtrack is: Storm Clouds Over Stalingrad by Sam Hulick. Give this guy some credit, he is multi award winning for his work not only is RO2 but also on Mass Effect. ;)

This game gave me slight PTSD first few days I played it. Nothing near as bad as what real soldiers have, but it was scary.

One of the lines Soviet soldiers say in RO2 is "I don't like this, tovarisch" which is something nobody would dare say about this amazing cover.

Ich weiß es hört sich für jeden Cod Spieler seltsam an aber jeder der das Spiel gespielt hat wird es auch kennen was ich jetzt schildere hoffe ich doch zumindest. Letztens habe ich bei Pavlov's Haus einen Russen abgeschossen der in meinen Raum kam und war sofort tot aber irgendwie als ich den seine Leiche gesehen habe musste ich irgendwie anfangen zu weinen und hab mich richtig scheiße gefühlt weil ich ihn abgebalert habe und das obwohl ich weiß das es bloß ein Computerspiel ist

I really love this theme. It kind of reminds me of the main menu theme to the original Call of Duty.

Well,I have this game,it's my favorite game (except from a few bugs) it's awesome,I just love camping with my sniper!!!!!!!!!!! It's just shows how bad war and killing is,the song that you played now makes this soooooo emotional!

It's called advertisement. I suppose it would explain the tank carcasses in map though.
No tank mode, but you can still play a tank on this map.
Gonna jump in and give some trivia.
The German 6th Army did bring tanks into the city itself. However, the Panzers were frequently put out of action by Soviet anti-tank riflemen, who would shoot at the weak top armour of the Panzers to disable it or incapacitate its crew. It was also ver common for tanks to be stuck in the mounds of rubble that Stalingrad slowly became (thanks to German bombing). It was also common for the Soviets to take a tank out with a well tossed anti-tank grenade in the urban landscape.

There were not enough overcoats for everyone in the Red Army, because clothing factories were bombed or evacuated to the east. Therefore , instead of overcoats , green quilted jackets were issued - "vatnik" (рус-russian "Ватник")

done anything bad to each other. They were just on the opposite side of the line. They were shootin' each other because the ones in charge told them to. And after that I couldn't play RO2 for few days. That game has the power of creating feelings and emotions you surely WON'T find in any other game!

Have any game, EVER made you think that the war is pointless? RO2 made me. I have shot Russian guy, he started screaming in pain, I walked past him with feelin' nothing bad. And in another room I heard screaming German soldier. They were both screaming. The German soldier was beging for help, he didn't want to die. Russian one was screaming something that I couldn't understand. But I knew that both of them didn't want to die. And that made me think: Why are they killin' each other? They haven't
