In a perfect world Boston and Montreal both would always be good, competitive and meet each other in the playoffs. Best rivalry in hockey and one of the best rivalries in all of sports in general.
It's not much of a rivalry now unfortunately. Honestly outside of the Battle of Alberta I wouldn't say there's a single heated rivalry in the league now. It's pathetic what the league has become, but I'm glad to see that more people are waking up to this.
You know you're bored when you're watching 10 year old games...this shoulder season between summer and winter is long 😁
I miss these times (habs fan)
Was the best era of hockey. Only thing missing was a cup win for the Habs.
Lol that intro is a ea sports NHL nightmare
That PK Subban goal was an absolute rocket🚀🚀🚀...8:25
Tukka Rask with the stick slam and fall at the boards at the end of this game is hilarious!
What an outstanding performance by Budaj. Well both goalies were amazing in the shoutout.
My favourite rivalry in sports. No two teams in any sport have played as often in the playoffs as Habs and Bruins.
Habs owned the bruins year after year.
When? Since 1990, Bruins are 7 games above .500 in regular season and 9 games above .500 in playoffs, including a 6-4 series advantage. If dominance was going on 4 decades ago and 25 years before this video, then what's your point?
@@rushrules81 "Since 1990" lol what a wacky way to make your point. Obviously you are a Bruins fan of the Jack Edwards kind.
Back in the years this video happened the Habs DID own the Bruins year after year, and the funny thing is that the Bruins were a force to be reckoned with but couldn't find answers whenever they faced the Canadiens. For 2012/13 the Canadiens won 3 out of 4 regular season games. 13/14, 3 out of 4 as well. 14/15 they dominated the Bruins with 4 straight wins. 15/16, 3 out of 5. And this of course doesn't count the playoff upsets they inflicted on your Bruins. 🤣
@@rushrules81the only time they beat us in the last century was in the 2011 playoffs ( game 7 ot)
@TheFlamingPike going back 34 years ( it's actually been 36) to find no dominant periods is wacky? Yes, Canadiens dominated the Bruins for like 35 years until 1988. Since then, they have been under .500. Nothing wacky, it's fact.
@kingmisogyny1852 well, theflamingpike would think that's "wacky"....lol
Hope the Bruins can hang on for a couple more years till the habs are done with the rebuild.
I miss the rivalry!
Back.when the habs were good lol, miss those days
soon again
Always a pleasure to beat the Bruins !! GO HABS GO !!
Ahh yes, when Montreal was good, Boston had prospects and lucic wasn’t a piece of burning trash
Julien rode Bergeronns straps for years

Ah yes Carey Price choking. Nothing has changed. Still don't know why anyone says he's a great netmider even though he still hasn't won a Stanley Cup title with all the choking he's done.
Let's see!
07-under 20 world cup gold medal . Calder cup
14 Olympic gold voted MVP goalie
15 Jennings award the Vezina The Ted Lindsey award the HART the Lou Marsh award the Lionel Conecher award
16 World Cup Gold medal
over 300 wins .....348 as of Dec of 2018
Flukey Trash....Rask ...yeah right! Timbigot Thomas? not likely!
@@scorpius6667 LoL at least Tukka Rask made a Stanley Cup final with the team he had while Carey Price has choked in every way possible in the Playoffs with Montreal or in the Winter regular season games where he becomes colder than the Weather in that city. 😅😅😅
@@scorpius6667 Tim Tomas won a cup
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld price made the finals so
@@bilalfarah2005 He choked again no surprise. Carey Price still doesn't impress me. Overrated goalie.
