    Great review, I was so excited to how these worked. Your demo came out awesome! Loved the 80’s inspired outro music too lol

    I too enjoy the GTA series. My favorite was GTA San Andreas. My favorite games are open world games like GTA, Assasins Creed, Skyrim, World of Warcraft, etc. The artists whom create them are underrated. They not only create far off fantasy worlds that seem realistic, but take us back into the past. So that we can experience ancient Greece, Egypt, Rome, etc. I enjoy them very much indeed.
    Edit: your work is lovely, as always. Great job!

      thank you! you're very kind:)
      yes, I love the atmosphere created in the games too. And although I've only played GTA, I of course saw the pictures from other games and I totally agree with you about the artists!!

    Is the palette you’re mixing on just a decorative plate or something? I love it !

    Hi! If you're still curious about the brand you can check the back of the pans and you'll find the characters 吉祥, they are pronounced kisshō in Japanese, so they are kissho gansai :)

      oh, thank you! I didn't know that!! I've watched a lot of videos about these paints and no one ever mentioned that🤍

      @@ElizavetaSmirnovaArt thank you for the video! After I saw the 1930s set I just had to buy it (and shipping to Costa Rica wasn't cheap, that's how much I liked it haha). When they arrived I noticed the characters and that was it :) You're a great artist, please keep the videos coming!

    How is the lightfastness on this brand ?

    • @ElizavetaSmirnovaArt
      @ElizavetaSmirnovaArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, I don't know:( that's the only downside of these paints - they do not give any information about the lightfastness. Will run my tests in spring.

    I love the 1930's set, but I'd pass on the 1980's.

  • @EugeniaLoli
    @EugeniaLoli 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Good buys! The 1930 is my favorite palette, and the 1980 one has this dark cherry color (the first one up top) that is super awesome. If I only wanted to travel with 1 palette, I'd use the 1930, but add that dark cherry color to it, instead of the dark yellow. The dark yellow in the 1930 palette can easily be mixed with the existing colors in that palette, and shouldn't have been included for that reason. Instead, it's missing that dark cherry (caput mortum) color. Then, when you mix these, you have a truly full palette to take with you.

    • @ElizavetaSmirnovaArt
      @ElizavetaSmirnovaArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      100% agree with what you are saying! and you honestly just opened my eyes about that dark cherry colour - I have no idea why I haven't thought that it was caput mortum... it is indeed very similar! Do you own these sets too?:)

  • @PinkWytchBytch
    @PinkWytchBytch 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Ironically, the two at the bottom are the two I’m heavily drawn towards, even if they’re very similar. I just can’t have enough skin tones and those two SCREAM “use me for skin tones for that beautiful powdery pale skin on your character”

    • @ElizavetaSmirnovaArt
      @ElizavetaSmirnovaArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      then it's good that they've included it!! :) yeah, probably for skin tones these will be very useful. With my architecture obsession I haven't really thought about other genres😂
