How about a side by side that is also street legal? Our very own Chad Puccio just picked one up and you'll soon start seeing at Rogan Radio events. Super cool idea.
I like this! Had a RZR 1000 and got rid of it because of broken belts , never knew when the belt was about to go out, I like the direct drive and selectable front and rear lockable differentials.
Sounds like your lying or just dumb an didn't know how to drive ..only reason for broken belts is primary drive an secondary out of line or driver issue
I owned a 2014 Oreion reeper, for 2 years, never beet on it,but in that time I had to get the rear frame area welded 3 times. The frame is made in China.
These things are cool as heck but the build quality is severely lacking. They are still trying to push new 2014 models around here and we are in the tail end of 2018. The word has gotten out that they just won't hold up.
It is not built like a UTV by any stretch. Have a more than a few issues but most involved knuckle busting repairs we did. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be any dealer prep or not. The dealer this was bought at has since dissolved. One crazy issue was the brace for the steering column. It just fell off one day while driving. Needless to say, always take a small set of rachects and wrenches with you. Engine wise there have been zero issues.
12 v heater put out 125 watts. Also thin steel , people loosing axles , complaints with the BBB, about this. High end Chinese made. Suzuki side kick, samurai is way better and they seat 4.
@@RoganRadio thats unfortunate because there are aspects i like more than a rzr or other side by side. The stick shift and regular 4 stroke motor as opposed to a snowmobile trans. Not too loud. Nice body style etc.
its not built for interstate speeds but i can tell you it goes past 70. top out speed i dont know. not really built for high speed cruising. handles great though.
Went to the dealership and looked at 2 of these, was extremely disappointed in build quality. Only 6 miles on the odometer and the driver side door wouldn't even open, battery was flat dead too. The other one had starting issues, wouldn't even fire. BRAND NEW with less than 2 digits rolled over, and they have problems like that? And don't bother getting comfortable, the seats don't adjust, save for the driver's which slides back and forth, no reclining feature to speak of. Asking price of $14,000 for a cheap base model, that's a strong NOPE from me.
Midnight Mechanic we are in the stages of a follow up video that will show some of the issues encountered. Not sure if the dealer is responsible for final adjustments or if it's actually shotty work but there have been issues. Driver's side door and more importantly, the steering column brace fell apart while going down road. Every vehicle has it's issues but some shouldn't happen when spending that kind of money. Agreed.
Spending that kind of money on a BRAND NEW vehicle that's not even interstate legal. A side-by-side can be had for much cheaper, even a 4wd quad will be cheaper to own!
One of my favorite vehicles. Wish it came with a bigger bed.

Hi, can you make a video about the differential lock? How it works?
thanks man. are you gonna do another video of it maybe drive it around a little bit? I would like to watch it.
Shaun Dudley one is in the making now
Can you list what states these machines can be tagged in an ran on the street....?

johndeere5719 that's not good news at all. Build quality isn't the best.
Can you please post a photo of where it needed the welds ? Thanks
I sold my 2012 oreion Reeper about 4 years ago I have no pictures of where I had to get to the rear frame welded.
Wonder if it's legal on the road in Michigan
Dnt think these things ever sold like they hoped they would. Dnt see them around and I definitely wouldn’t take it off road lol
its an LSV. Low Speed Vehicle in Most states. means roads posted 35mph or less. not any roads.
correct depending on local and state law. where we are the interstate is off limits. everywhere else good to go.
Where i can buy the 4 suspensions ?

They aren't built for abuse for sure. I wonder if even driven but the concept is very cool. Just doesn't really work in the long term.
How much do they cost? 1st time ever seen, but I like it..
Thx for sharing.. 🤙🏼✌🏼
BlkiceMike this particular one was $18000. It's the sport model with the 1100 engine and a few added options.
I'm looking at a 2017 Reeper Apex, 4 seater. Looks like it's been over a year since you posted this -- how has it held up?

Where could i by this?

what size lift? thanks bud
Shaun Dudley not sure exact ground clearance but it's stock. this is how it came from factory.
So many legal can ams
oh ok I appreciate it it looks awesome man. is it a lot of fun to drive around or would you go with something else?
very actually. two in one vehicle and it does great at both.
that's a really nice Reeper.but do they also come in automatic ?
Robbie Henry not for certain but I don't think so.
What year is this Reeper? Thanks
do you have an update on this thing after two years? Is it worth it? Problems? major or minor?
Nickle and Dime problems. For the price I would stay steer clear. Nothing major just more of a hassle. Ex. Steering column brace stripped itself out.

Agreed plus being street legal.
how much weight can it pull
Colten Carter honestly no idea. My guess is not a huge amount.
Is this for sale
What's the top speed on this model?

Buckhannon motor sport is out of business

Midnight Mechanic none of them are freeway legal only surface streets
At a certain point it's like why not just buy a Jeep
been a year, I guess no update video. The videos for these are very lacking.
No budget for $17K toys...
i like but who makes these
What I've read up on is Oreion is a GM subsidiary, considering they do make an all electric Hummer as well, which has to be licensed through GM.
It must have a shity engine because they didn't talk about it at all
Junk
Lock all 4 diffs lol there's only 3 diffs buddy
