Thats a 50 gallon "lowboy" tank. They are hsrd to find in some areas. They were primarily designed for people who grow coral frags. And were or are poplular with reptile keepers. I believe the demensions are 48x24x12 on the tank. Basicly a standard 50 laid on its side for more surface area.
Yea it's just a lowboy tank , I had one for axolotls . It was very difficult to find , but it's really popular for coral frag tanks aswell . So if you have a specialty salt water shop , they could likely hunt one down for you.
Hey Joe I have a 36” electric eel bro and I noticed when the temperature is at 75° he’s very active but whenever it’s at 86° in the winter time, he’s not active at all. So maybe it’s not the size of tank but maybe it’s just the heat in your gallery might be too high for him. But i’m not 100% sure.
Hey bro, I wanted to say I think you’re on something there because most eels in the wild they’re in like a real nasty muddy area. You know what I’m saying that is due to less rainfall certain times of year and South America but probably are more active when it is raining and the temperatures are more cooler and more room and I’m too do what they do hunting swimming searching scavenging. I definitely think you’re on to something with that hypothesis
I love Helen, she's such a cute stingray, are you going to add more fish to their underwater castle? I know nothing about stingray keeping so I'm not sure if that's a problem although I'm honestly kinda assuming that it might be.😅❤
Love your videos. Such great info and beautiful fish and aquariums, I always enjoy watching them. I’ve used some of your DIY project ideas on my aquariums. However, I am Deaf and videos are sometimes captioned and sometimes not, so they’re not always accessible and I get by on just watching video, reading comments, and trying to figure out what you are doing with your projects and fish.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question. Could the electric eel's behavior been in any relation to the tank's material? I wonder if acrylic has a different "feel" to him than a glass aquarium. I know that to electric eels water volume isn't super critical given what they can be found living in in the wild. It's just interesting that it was so uncomfortable in the larger volume of water.
while i know acrylic is a better insulator for heat compared to acrylic, i dont think it plays a role. but perhaps! im more so thinking it has to do with temp. the gallery is warmer than my house! Lower water temps seem to make the eel more active. BUT so did glass.
i have built a few already. one as recently as this year! How much weight a tank can hold depends on thickness and design of the tank. but i also show how to build supports. this is one for salt, but its the same for fresh: th-cam.com/video/ZX8zN3bxI7s/w-d-xo.html
@@thekingofdiy 😱😱😱 OMG I feel like a little girl 😂😂😂 the king of DIY actually replied to one of my comments, I just scared the crap out of my wife at 2:23am in bed 😂😂😂 saying you replied bro 😂😂😂😂 but yeah I’ll take a look at it also I watched all of your videos so I much of forgot but thanks KING 👑.
rocks play little to no roles in rays being injured. id say other rays being #1. pointing branches are #2. other fish #3. substrate would be last in terms of injury. rocks and roots, never seen it before.
Joey. I have two Oscar's I've grown out they have turned to the size of big footballs lol at least 21 inches long idk never measured but big is all I know
tanks only 50 gallons ? is the camera playing tricks on me, cause that looks like a 200+ gallon tank to me.
It's a shallow tank mate
Very low

thanks for making videos🙂
Helen is a mighty Phoenix!
She fought off the Grim Reaper!
How are the oscar couple doing you put in few vids back?
The eel is the Rodney Dangerfield of the gallery. He gets no respect
That 50gl tank has been popping up on my fb feed it looks pretty sweet that would be perfect for my catfish so much more room to swim around.
Thought the rays like a sandy bottom so they can bury themselves
in my last video, i explained this: th-cam.com/video/fNxH-SMiys8/w-d-xo.html
awesome man
LETS GO HELEN!! 🎉
He will change this in 5 days
How will you spot feed her in the 2000g?
Hey Joey
Hi joey other great video and Helen will be ok with the move and she’s in a bigger tank
Don't discount them, Teach them. Then if they still don't listen it's on them!
Do you keep grade AAA high quality ranchus? 🤔 You can sell em 200$ to 500$ depending on their size and rarity
Hey Joe can you build a over the head sump filter and how much weight can you put in a glass tank or fiberglass tank

Can someone please link that pump?
it was on temu: app.temu.com/m/u73uknh79io or Search aay95266 to get 30% off + $100 coupon bundle!
What clips do you have on top of the ray tank to hold the lid down? I'm in desperate need of those😂
They look like clips they sell to keep children from opening cabinets
child protection clips
@@thekingofdiy thank you so much!! You're awesome!! Love the vids
@@shadevictusgaming thank you so much
@@ernestomedina1926 no worries my guy, used some similar to keep my kids out of cabinets 🤣
Why not take water from the 700, same water right?
i did. i pumped it from there.
@ you said 375
How big will the tays get
these will get to 24-30" across.
I got my aquariums at 80f
Won't those fake rocks be dangerous for her ,being she's blind. I guess once she gets her bearings it won't be a issue. .

@thekingofdiy Thanks Joey. I'm not familiar with Ray's. Those 2 are stunning 😍 ✨️ ❤️
Loved this video so much that I have to comment again! Great point on not having exposed heaters in a stingray aquarium. That’s beginner stuff 🎉
They looked big in that smaller tank, but absolutely tiny in the one they are in now.
Translate fr please
