Geez that is stupid! You actually just REWARDED him for snapping at you!!!! It really doesnt get any more ignorant. You really should not own a rottweiler, because u make it hard for responsible rott owners like me to be treated fairly. You are laughing at extremely dangerous behavior. Food/toy aggression is probably the single biggest cause of home dog bites. When a rottweiler or other dog with tremendous jaw strength bites a child who curiously reaches for a bone the result is often devastating. This is no laughing matter. I am anER doc with over 25 years clinical experience and have lived with rottweilers for longer than that. I have seen lives truly devastated. It wont be funny if some child has their face taken off...and if their lawyer finds this really stupid video the economic cost will be exponential. Extinguish that behavior now. My rotts know EVERYTHING they have comes from me and can be taken by me, or any of the family at any time. this starts as a brand new puppy. U have your work cut out for u.
Thank you for your concern and appreciate your comment. However, we only gave a snapshot of Coco enjoying his bone & startling me. After the video we dealt with him accordingly/appropriately and taught him food aggression. In reality, he is the kindest creature on the planet bar none. Coco is actually friendly, docile, well-trained, and yes very thoughtful. He runs away from my sister's cat and wants to play with every dog that we encounter. He is socialized and most of the neighborhood kids go out of their way to pet him and he truly appreciates the attention from friends & family. I am confident all of the responsible owners can attest to similar experiences from their fur babies. Coco clearly knows that we mean business but also adore him like crazy. He is loved/trained by family 24/7 and I mean that literally.
@@NikkiTorr very glad to hear that. Rotties are the best dogs. They are powerful though as u know and they need to be certain who is the boss. Kudos to u.
@@TatooedDoc Just wanted to mention: When he was 8wks old, we lost many days of sleep(tons of anxiety) trying to decide if we should keep him because of the "aggressive dog" reputation & anecdotal stories like yours. That's why hubby did a video "Do you really want a Rottweiler?". Currently, we are pleasantly surprised how kind, gentle, polite, & loving he is. Even impressed his dog trainer. As he gets older, we understand he will become more protective & we will continue daily socialization/training & give him tons of care & attention.
Its called food aggression. Its very common for dogs...I mean those that are not properly domesticated. It is a serious problem and there is nothing cute about it.
Be careful...Master Coco is really ravenous..!!! So cute..What is he chomping on...? Adorable...🤗🤗🤗🤗😊😊🤗
