They're great at rapping, no doubt, but what makes Mandarin hard to rap in? In fact it seems quite easy since Mandarin only has around 400 unique syllables to rhyme, while English for example has around 15,000. Not that rapping is only rhyme by any means.

tbh as chinese myself i didn't rly like chinese rap before cuz i thought it didn't sound as good as other languages do but higher bors rly changed my mind and i luv the fact how they r not trying to fit into the black or white rap culture or anything they r just being themselves and expressing themselves through their music; it's not like they r tryna be like oh hey i gotta fit into this american rap ways somehow they r not downplaying their identity which is a huge reason why i love their works cuz i think it's crucial for ppl to see themselves in a bright light and to recognize and accept different parts of themselves #keepitup #asianrep
