This is a year old, but check out the guitar teacher Tomo Fujita here on youtube. He uses the blues and jazz as teaching tools and he plays in a very similar style to this.
I was expecting to be disappointed and was pleasantly surprised. But now I'm disappointed in myself for automatically assuming I would be disappointed. 🤔
Its nice seeing someone on TH-cam who doesn’t just play shredmetal Edit: I do enjoy most other types of music i was merely remarking that i hadn’t seen much of this genre blow up on the platform.
can you sir make a 1 or 2 hour long track like this? its so beautiful, calm, yet drives you away and damn i love it. so if you can please make long tracks like this
Mr. Jö i don’t think you understand how tiring and hard it’d be to play a 1 or 2 hour song now if you mean loop it for an hour or 2 that’s easy even you can do it but if you mean a song that’s an hour long then i don’t think anyone would ever make something that long
Danny James this needs to happen man. I was looking for you on Apple Music and Spotify the other day and found nothing. It’s time man. You make amazing music
For those wondering: the intro consists of an E major, D major and A major chord. The E is played an octave up. I am in no way saying I know how this track is played, but my guesd is that Danny is using the E major scale. I'm not sure what sort of E major scale it is, but I hope it helps you all out a bit! This is a lovely track!
I think its more about emphasizing the right notes, and bending or slightly sharpening the right notes. what also can give you a great bluesy vibe is switching „modes“. like when going from E to D to A, start with E myx. scale: E F# G# A B C# D then D myx. scale : D E F# G A B C and then A myx. scale: A B C# D E F# G I know thats a lot to think about, but once you know what notes to change on each chord it sounds great.
You can visualise it as in the key of A , but taking the perfect 5th as a root that is E , so instead of the usual 1 4 5 1 this is more like 5 4 1 5, hope this makes any sense, well thats how I see modes.
I just started playing 3 months ago and it took me 4 days watching this video on slow to get every note, every finger position and writing out the tabs. I am so happy I can play all the right sounds and with practice I can play it like Danny. I absolute love this song. Thanks Danny
Did exactly the same as you did. Literally watched in the video in 0.5 speed to get it all right. Still am struggling to find out how he played the backing track
i often listen to this music, especially to take a rest ; i just forget all that life and fckn society, just close your eyes and forget your name and the people. Just focus on that pure guitare melody, it's just like an oasis on desert, just like a sunset on a beach, with some love, some poetry and philosophy around us. Dream of it before sleeping, keep that quiet sound in your mind, taste every notes and every pictures that come in your head. Make a beautiful life
i love how you leave just enough space to not fill up the music too much, too many guitarists just play waaaay to much but you know how to dose it just right
Very lovely...I've been playing since 14yrs old and now I'm 61. I know how life can interfere with creating, so I won't pressure you to post more stuff, only encourage you that you've already given the world a measure of beauty.please understand it's only natural we want more.thank you Danny!!
I'm hearing it too But it's OK it's an own good song If you look there are many 80s bands influenced from 70s bands influenced from 60s bands some of them say which inspired them so you can see there parallels between some bands like kizz was much inspired from Slade they even did the warm up at Slade gigs as they were pretty unknown everyone is inspired from his favorites and I think this is pretty good very often for the growing of music especially rock n roll even if you can't compare the last decades with 60s 70s 80s and early 90s
i have been tetering on whether or not to make time for guitar, you have inspired me to start again. your music is a vibe in itself and put my blazed ass in heaven for the hour i looped it. keep making life chiller brah. also ima save your tabs for later bc its the first thing ima play when i skill up
To be honest this gotta be one of the most underrated videos i have ever seen. I just dont know if i should cry or laugh hearing this beautiful sounds. Absolutely incredible. Mindblown.
Omg i know this masterpiece since i was a young teenager. i just got my guitar and always wanted to learn this, its the first song of my "Guitar Learn" Playlist :'D I kinda forgot about it after i had no way to learn it cuz of missing tabs. I just saw it now again and dang you got the tabs and backingtrack released :) Took me 2 years but thank you so much. I really loved that video, still do. I will learn it now
This type of music is very rare. It has a vibe in itself that makes it unique, and the best thing about it is you ain't hearing it, you are feeling it from the 1st sec only .

This is by far my favorite music Ive ever had the chance to hear in my life. Keep doing shit like this I got the chills so intensely listening to this!
I have 4 months learning guitar. It is relaxing when you have time and focus on practice. This tab is inspirational. I like this style and slow blues rock.
This sounds like something a man would play who lost his loved one to the moon... I don't know if I am making sense but it's what I feel. Damn, the blues always show you something new about you. Great stuff

Amazing work !
Tabs? Hell yeah!
Awesome
Thank you for tabs 🙏
This is quite possibly the greatest instrumental song I’ve ever heard.
Damn, and this is coming from the Jimmy Page!
Never doubt the ability of jazz and classical music to completely wreck that opinion

Check out Lenny by Stevie Ray Vaughan

this is the style i wanna play

This style will make you wanna be a complete musician than just a guitarist
year update, this shits easy, i can play it by ear now.
@@DefNotMilk can I ask what tutorials did you watch or what scales you had to learn
All of us wanna play like this. Psychedelics rules. He took lessons from Jimi Hendrix.
Tripped to this last night
Literally psychedelic blues😍
That must be awesome
I put this on during one of my trips too. Pink Floyd level of awesomeness
Lofi music all the way during a trip
daniel bazan to each his own but I prefer psychedelic rock and roll over Lofi
Clicked on this randomly. I was not disappointed!

It's better as an instrumental piece without lyrics
Where we're going you won't need lyrics 🚀

Jonathan K 2 years late but just had to say fuck yes
I had my second child to this song. That’s why I can’t help but whistle this whenever I see him. My little guy. Sigh. Good.
Reminds me of something being played at the end of Woodstock 🤘
It also sounds like something being played during Woodstock 🤘
Hey joe by jimi Hendrix?, that was the last song played at Woodstock
I feel you're bringing back to life Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd in your own personal way, keep up the spectacular creative work!
I feel that too🖤
Minor solo over major progression....simple but works everytime
You mean relative major? I mean Aminor solo over c major or a major?
@@anditota99 well in this case its more like E minor over E mixolydian
@@TheGreenCapricorn exactly!!! he is using mixolydian chord progression I can tell by my ear......!!
@@debodeep2730 sure ?
Its just D# Bb G# and some dead notes more.

Sounds very melodic minor actually, to me
First minute or so sounds very Jerry Garcia inspired. Jerry used a lot of myxalidian.
Very Eric Clapton Cocaine solo vibes.
