While I understand it’s *absurdly pricey* at the moment, I do think the Labramon promo from Digimon Survive is a great 1 of in the deck to have another choice for getting rid of floodgates. Also BT3 Maste instead of one of the Ophanimon, but I can understand either.

Unfortunately the Survive promos are not currently legal to play in tournament

Honestly, it's the first mastemon list I've seen from this new set that looks playable. Nice work!

Hi there. If my locals is expected to run mostly bwgx and maste (with a few ulforce) is there something to tech or what changes could be made for the deck to have a higher chance to win?

Did he make any changes to this list considering BWGX was nerfed and official mulligan rule announced

Right off the bat, I am completely taken a back by the Digiburst devimon

Right like why not play the promo Devimon that has the onplay delete 1 opponents level 3 Digimon then you don’t have to burst off useful inheritables it’s even 1 less to hard slam if you need to do that it’s 2k DP less but that doesn’t seem like it’s that much different.

@@vix_arilynn The on play promo devi is way worse because you essentially give up your turn by slamming it. The digi burst devi allows you to move up your stack, clear the floodgate, and then use Mirei to DNA without giving up your turn.

@@vincentliu809 right I understand that it’s not the best option to hard slam but are you still not able to advance your stack with the promo Devimon and just delete with the on play and be able to avoid the bursting off of your level 3 and digi egg? They both cost 2 to digivolve on top of a 3. I recognize that hard slamming it basically ends your turn but also if for some reason you don’t have a 3 with egg on board would the promo not allow you to still play and gain the effect in a pinch. There are only 8 lv3 Mons and two copies of that particular Devimon if you get caught out with no lv 3s which is possible pomumon in grandis can be a threat for longer and give them time to dismantle your board further while you’d wait for a 3 to advance your stack because you have to remove your 3 and egg before being able to delete the opponent’s Mon with the non promo but if you don’t have a 3 and egg to do that with what then?

@@vix_arilynn The inherits are honestly not that important. You can't advance your stack with promo Devimon in the same seamless way as Bt4 Devimon. Bt4 is superior because of Mirei. By placing Bt4 Devimon in raising, you are able to promote on the following turn, delete a rookie, evolve on top of it, use Mirei effect to play ange/lady, and then DNA if you have the memory. That play cannot happen with Promo Devi, and delays your play by an entire turn, and requires you to either have another level 4, or for promo devi to not be removed. Both of which are hard asks. BT4 works because of the fact that you are able to kill the floodgate and make Maste in the same turn. Mastemon is not a deck in which the level 3 and egg inherits matter very much, so it is a small price to pay for being able to be a turn faster. It's possible that not having level 3s and having a 4 would feel bad, but in testing this has not been a factor to where Promo Devi would be better. Feel free to run the promo if you want, but BT4 has performed extremely well in testing.

@@vincentliu809 I guess I’m not seeing how it isn’t as seamless and how it’s delaying your plays by one turn they digivolve for they same 2 memory cost and in essence do the same thing they’re both classified a fallen angels I’m not seeing how Mirei is the determining factor on that. Especially when it’s just in the deck to combat another specific deck in Gandis. I’m just not understanding how ether one is that much better than the other because they each do the same thing just in slightly different ways. On plays are easier to suppress mains are harder one you can hard slam in an emergency the other you can’t one you have to predict the pomumon the other you can just play it out at the beginning of the turn after it’s been played and it won’t be active the rest of the turn. I’d love to understand I’m just not seeing much of a difference there yah know…
