Connect to your Database with Evidence

Once you have installed Evidence, you can connect to your database using the settings menu.
1. Open the settings menu in the preview window using the ... icon in the top right
2. Scroll down to "Data Sources"
3. Click "Add Data Source"
4. Choose a source, and give it a name
5. Enter your connection details, test and save the connection
6. Go back to VSCode, and open the sources folder, and find your new source
7. Add a .sql file in your source folder, which runs a sql query against your data source. This will load a table into Evidence.
8. Add a markdown query to your markdown file (e.g index.md) using a SQL Query block, and select data from your new source query
9. Add components to preview data from the Query
