Good review considering you weren't there. And it's good to see a youngster that actually knows what he's talking about. I'm 53. SLAYER has been my favorite band since I was 13. I've seen them in small clubs and big arenas. On my way to Louisville from Los Angeles to see them right now. Appreciate you taking the time to talk about the MIGHTY SLAYER!🔥🤘🏿
I was there, I crowdsurfed to disciple with my God Hates Us All CD out hoping to get noticed by the band, i threw it on stage, but wasn't noticed sadly ....
I guess it can’t be Exodus because Gary Holt would have to pull double duty. Maybe Flotsam & Jetsam… they’re still making great albums. Maybe take a young band on the road with them… there’s this great new thrash band called Crysis… would highly recommend!
Yeah disturbing stuff…I wonder if they brought that song back because of the success of the Netflix series. 213 wasn’t their first time writing about stuff like that… Dead Skin Mask is about Ed Gein 😳
Jon Dette was really underrated in the band. He brought so much aggression to their 90s shows. I like Paul, but I wouldn't mind if they brought Dette back. Didn't he have a falling out with the guys at one point?
What are your thoughts on Slayer's reunion at Riot Fest? Let me know down below!
Never heard about this
They should of opened with hell awaits in my humble opinion
Hell Awaits would’ve been an awesome opener for sure!
I think that the Slayer reunion at the riot fest is amazing i woud love to see them do a reunion tour nice video my friend take care.
I’d love to see a reunion tour too… I never got to see Slayer live before they retired. Take care man!
Hopefully they do more. Would love to get a chance to see them
I’d love to be able to see them… I missed them on the farewell tour before they retired.

Have a great time seeing them in LA! I hope they announce more shows… I missed out on seeing them on the farewell tour.
4:20 haven't heard the show, but other bands I can think of going on top are Death, Pantera, and Children of Bodom.
Agreed, they were all still great when they stopped. Good call!
We can only hope they do europe some festivals next year , we deserve that , lol !! And from the vids , they where awesome on riotfest !!

lol bummer you lost your CD… still a cool memory. Sounds like a great time! 🤘
a slayer and pantera co headlining tour would be great for 2025 maybe with overkill or exodus opening or someone else
That would be killer! Half-tera were much better than I expected when I saw them open for Metallica... definitely would see them again.
@@TheCDGuyJZ who would you like to see open for them if it happens

@@TheCDGuyJZ Maybe Flotsam & Jetsam and Overkill or Prong
@@justin-w8x Would be cool!
Do you think the set list will be the same for the next two shows?
I would assume so. Although I’d love to hear them dig up some more deep cuts like 213 and Blood Red.
213 = Dahmers crib....Brutal..

@@TheCDGuyJZCould be..revived fascination with the macabre. Matter of fact Demonspeed made a career out of serial killer songs ..lol
@@tonyrutgershauer7947 So did the bands Macabre and Church of Misery lol
Meh. I've seen the real Slayer 20 times. They should have John Dette play drums again!

headed to louder than life friday to see my first slayer show at my first music festival. FUCKIN SLAYYYYYYER!
Have an awesome time! 🤘
They prob needed the money
I have no idea what their financial situation is, but they were definitely paid a massive bag for this show.
YOU REVIEWED A CONCERT YOU DIDN’T ATTEND?????
Yes
@@TheCDGuyJZ THAT’S LIKE BEING A CD GUY BUT LISTENING TO THE ALBUM ON SPOTIFY
Lol kinda like critiquing a TH-cam channel and not having a channel of your own. 🤔
@@TheCDGuyJZ NEVER CLAIMED TO BE A CD GUY
John Dough...trying to figure out if your deal is jealousy or obsession. Might be both.
