16 de marzo, primer día oficial de Fallas, con los casi 800 monumentos falleros en las calles y la ciudad a rebosar de visitantes y turistas. Y como cada día, a las 14 horas, hay cita puntual en la plaza del Ayuntamiento con la pirotecnia, en este caso con Pirotècnia Turís, responsable del disparo de este mediodía.

You are absolutely right. I live here in Valencia and I can say that for a whole month it is an absolute nightmare for the animals. And not only for them but for many of those who don't participate, especially those with some conditions that make them more sensitive to strong noises, they suffer a lot during those days.
