Rockstar has today and tomorrow to announce something with its RDR 1 PC port, GTA 6 Screenshots, Trailer 2, or all of them together. The reason why I say that is because Take Two's conference call is May 16th and it's gonna come and go whether Rockstar announces something or not so they better think fast.

I'm not a gamer but I like to play some gta once in awhile (since I started with gta 1 long time ago and I loved the sequel)
my only question is.. *why are they discriminating against PC players?*
and by this I'm asking why are they releasing the game for consoles first and after months if not years they release it for PC ?!? makes no sense

There are two reasons I can think of:
1. A PC port would be more difficult to optimise than a console port. The reason for this is because computers are diverse. There isn't just one type of computer with the same specs. Every computer is different. This isn't the case for consoles. For example, every PS5 is the same, capable of running the same games, because they all have the same hardware and software. Kind of like the difference between iPhones and Android phones. Android is diverse, with every company having its own custom version of Android, while every iPhone from the same model will have the exact same specs. So, to recap, an actual decent PC port takes longer to make and would only delay the game.
2. If they release it on consoles first, then re-release it on PC, there's a chance that people who already own the game on console will buy the game again. Thus, more profit.
