We all want to be with Jesus, but along with faith, we need good deeds also. Luke 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance. Luke 6:30 Give to every man that asketh of thee. Hebrews 13:16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Isaiah 58:7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-- when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Good deeds matter to God, are the oil from our lamp. Even though God will not be indebted by anyone. Nobody is worthy more than His mercy. And our good deeds, are nothing more than our DUTY. Matthew 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away For those who think all we need is to believe in Jesus and we are saved - Believing in Jesus doesn't mean we get a license to sin and still be saved. devil believe more than we do that Jesus is King, but that doesn't save him, his deeds are always bad. Believing in Jesus means to follow Him, have the same actions like Him. Every time you don’t know what to do, ask your self “What Jesus will do in this situation?” but keep in mind, for example - fornicate outside your marriage, being caught and then ask “what Jesus will do” will not give you any answer than - “support the consequences”. You should ask that before you fornicate, when tentation appeared. Jesus Holy Blood is enough to save us, but have we did our part? Let's all repent, confess, do them no more, follow the 10 commandments, go to church, respect holy celebrations and Sundays. Our works do not grant salvation, but true faith yields fruit. Matthew 7:21, 23 - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. In Matthew 25: 35-40 says also about helping the ones in need, otherwise - no salvation.
Thank you for watching the video. Ephesians 2:8,9 says that salvation is a gift from God not of works, lest any man boast. But the evidence of our salvation is a true turning from sin in the fear of the Lord. I appreciate your comment.
