since people loved the previous playlist i posted, i totally did not make another one instead of studying for my finals. that could never be me… anywayyy happy holidays xx
edit: a few people have informed me on how insulted they are that some of these songs are not in the "classic barbie songs playlist". i just want to say that the songs i included in the classic barbie playlist were those that came from the barbie movies that were considered "classics". i read somewhere that the classics stopped when the movies began to be set in the modern world, and a huge indication of this was the start of the appearance of cellphones. thus, the last barbie movie i consider a classic would be barbie and the three musketeers. so my categorization of the songs is in no way indicating its impact on people but just merely describing the era it was released. hope that clears things up!

barbie in a fashion fairytale LITERALLY inspired me to be a fashion designer. i still remember the moments when i drew and colored the exact dress they first sold in the movie lol. i love barbie so much
IKR this movie inspired me to live my dreams out; travel the world and create new art. I still design and create to this day 🎀🎀
Same here!!! I went on the Barbie website to print out Fashion Fairytale coloring pages, but the printer wouldn’t work so I drew and color my own. I showed them to my family and they were really impressed, so I’d been drawing clothes ever since!💖

No joke, my family STILL to this day remember On Top of the World from Princess Charm School. And none of them ever really watched the Barbie movies except for with me when I was like 4-8 (I'm 20 this year).

Barbie Diaries is probably one of my favourite Barbie movies of all time. The animation isn't the best, but it does an amazing job of making Barbie a normal person, who makes mistakes, learns and grows.

On Top Of The World is very empowering in my opinion. I struggle so much with self-confidence and have constant doubt about myself. When I put on the song, I feel so powerful. I feel like I can do anything. The message is about perseverance and keep pushing even when things get tough, and whenever I feel like things are too hard for me, I remind myself that I can do it.

This songs are really good (in English) and they are really optimistic and we'll made I always though that the movies are good and you have to ignore the songs because their translation made headaches but the English music is really a masterpiece. I love them and saved in a playlist
But Barbie in a mermaid tale is of the modern Barbie movies my fave and the fact that at the beginning she did not understand being mermaid not even royalty but at the end of the second movie she is creating the most important substance for the ocean. It is a nice detail
