TH-cam money coming in niceee now, remember when he just had the Miata turbo’d at the old house in that tiny garage? All that hard work and years of commitment finally paying off.
Just a tip for possible future bleeding coolant system: edit except this engines main cooling system. As explained in comments. Turn ignition on, heater to max hot and fan speed on one and then depress gas pedal fully for about 20/30 seconds or until you hear coolant pump kick on. 👍 it runs the pump at different speeds and fully bleeds it.
I was just scrolling down to say this lol I didn't trust it the first time I tried it on my e92, but it bled the system perfectly and hasn't let me down yet
@@viktorbarsukov2894 yeah I commented back, at least it will work with the aux coolant pump for the intercooler. But don’t forget about the n20 also. That engine also has a electric coolant pump and this procedure works on it also.
You really need to buy a coolant system vacuum bleeder. It draws a vacuum, which allows you to knownif a leak is present, you'll lose vacuum. And then it allows for filling after.
It’s still crazy to see you working in this shop. I remember seeing videos of you even looking for a house to buy to build a shop - and now you’ve got multiple cars in there coming together. So awesome.
It was so cool to get to finally meet you today at drift week. The car looks great and your such a cool humble dude. You are exactly how you are in videos and that was super cool to see. Hope to see you at another event in Tucson in the future man.
There's a frase in Spanish that goes "hombre preparado vale por dos" which means "a man prepared, is worth double" and that's exactly what I see when you are getting prepared. That's such a good feeling. 👍
Even after watching you all these years. You still blow my mind when you finish these projects on your own while filming for all of us to continue to watch. Just wanna say thanks and a big shout out to the real Garage Build Co.
That look and stance!!!!!! Absolutely perfect. Love the color of the rims on that black. You never fail to amaze. Good luck Taylor and be safe. Love the vids. Please try an record as much as possible for drift week.
I saw super sad i wasn’t able to go to Tucson and see you and everyone els that was there. I’m a really big fan and love everything you do. You’re a huge inspiration. I love watched all your vids and hopefully drift week goes well
The new Drift Car turned out sickk Taylor I love it 😛 thanks for taking us on the journey through the build .. all the best for Drift Week 😁🏆👌 Much love from N.Z 🇳🇿
I'm so glad that you are getting to go. I saw the title, and was worried for you. Hopefully after the engine is re-timed, it will be uneventful, and you can be on your way!
Hey Taylor maybeeee a dumb dangerous idea potentially but. Why not on your rear "car raise blocks" to lift the car to get the lift under it. Why not just make the rear ones a front and rear drive on setup. So u don't have to stop and get out to pull them out? Just drive up lift. Drive off. N drive over with the front wheels? Hope that makes sense
Highly recommend buy a set of Smartstrings for doing alignments yourself. It’s quick setup and very accurate if you can be consistent in your measurements
You’re gonna do fine man. You’re def overdoing it. But I can’t blame you. Also atmosphere is rad. Seen em a few times and was even listening to em earlier while wrenching on my z.
I'm excited to see you finally go on drift week. You are the reason I started following drifting. If I weren't drag racing, I would try my hand at drifting.
I got stoked when you added the rack, having the sun roof and the rack, we used to have a w123 turbo diesel and my girl friend (now wife) used to hang out the sun roof grabbing the rack to stay put, super fun combo for a fun car. Such party versatility!
Man I am PUMPED to see how this thing rips!!! Love the build so far!!! I always like the deadline builds!!! Thinking of Trevor from Motion Auto... That dude is a beast!!!
Can't wait to see you sliding that big girl around the track with the roof box on it! Keep up the amazing work, and keep shredding in these amazing cars.
Fyi cinder blocks are meant to take weight on the sides with the holes, not the closed slab sides and you risk them crumbling without warning by using them that way. You can make blocks out of scrap 2x4's that can handle way more weight than a car safely.
with that alignment setup your using you could use laser pen mounted on with clips that tighten then use small spirit level and straight angle edge to get the laser pen true then at front use a mirror to reflect back to laser so you know your straight or reflectors on a point on the wall you know is true straight etc etc
Just a quick thought about you doing the alignment... you might want to build some stands for you to put your alignment slip plates on where you can easily be under the cars and still make all the adjustments you need with the car not . Not to mention it would be cool to see you build them as a shop project. If not there are ones available from Race Ramps and they really do make sense with how much suspension work you have been doing on your project cars. keep up the amazing content. 😁
Hey Taylor, get the banjo a little past hand tight, then smack it lightlyish with a hammer and tighten it some more. It'll make it conform to the mating surfaces better. Saw that on a YT short lol
Talking about the hydraulic system for the hand brake is actually a fluid mechanics problem. It's not about the throw of the smaller cylinder that gives you more pressure but the difference in internal piston areas. This can be broken down to a simple equation of F2=(A2/A1)*F1. F1=the force applied from the handbrake cylinder, F2=the force the brake piston cylinder exerts, A1=the surface area of the handbrake piston, and A2=the surface are of the brake piston cylinder. For example: Typical handbrake cylinder area is 0.785 square inch = A1 Lets say we have a brake piston cylinder area of 2.75 square inch = A2 You apply 50 pounds of force to the handbrake = F1 F2=(2.75 in^2/0.785 in^2)*50 lbf = 175 lbf at the brake caliper piston Now if we increase the size of the brake piston cylinder area to 3 square inch then we would get: F2=(3 in^2/0.785in^2)*50 lbf = 191 lbf at the brake caliper piston It's really more of a ratio of piston surface area that translates to how much force would get out of the piston while require less force at the handbrake, not throw.
Sickkk. Taylor you smashed it! I so wanna hate those wheels then you pulled it out and I'm sold! You know being so nice that it's crying for a worthy wrap. Remember bmw done that Gt2 art car... Black base with all the coloured lines and rear cartoon space explosion... I think you so need to do it!!!
I love the roof racks, I've wanted to put roofracks on my s13 for 10 years now but just can't get myself to commit to it haha... love the vids as always!
Atmosphere is local and I used to play Magic: The Gathering with a guy that played guitar on some of their tracks. He was still getting royalty checks from his work with Rhymesayers the last time I talked to him.
Like the sound of atmosphere My go to is bliss n eso normally Car is looking the nuts I got roof bars recently and regret not getting the wind deflector badly
Great Job Taylor! You have one of the very best automotive channels on utube and I'm always looking forward to your next video. The car turned out fantastic! Good luck at the event!
It’s crazy to see you go from buying that Miata to now building insane drift cars!
I was just thinking the same thing
Been subscribed since Adam shouted him out after he bought the Miata that he was going to get for Nicole but didn’t.

Love Atmosphere. I’ve heard you playing Brother Ali in the past too. As a guy from Minneapolis, I approve of these choices. 👌
Who was he playing in the video I couldn't hear 😂
Tip for alignments, always do the rear first. If you do the front then the rear, when you adjust the rear it moves the front

The f80 went to a mechanical engine water pump. This trick does work to bleed the intercooler though.
@@cruizinmax01 yep I thought about that after I posted, but figured it’s something to know either way lol
this only works on n51,n52,n54,n55 doesn't work on a s55.

Best advice ever, get a pressure tester and a coolant vacuum refill, takes out all the air
As a fan from Minneapolis, it was cool to hear Atmosphere playing in the shop. Many late nights listening to our local favorites in my own shop.

@@beratsbuilds if you look at his IG account he did get it fixed and shipped. It appears it’s doing great
The information Taylor gives in his videos is pure gold. That part about cylinder sizes, leverage, etc. was very informative and welcome.

Atmosphere is a favorite of mine... This build is just so dope, can't wait to see it slide
Just a quick tip on alignments. Always do the rear before the front and camber before toe.
I've seen Atmosphere live 2 or 3 times. Good shit.
Loving this build. The roof racks look SICK!!!
I love the look of it! Bronze Koenig wheels! And the pod! Yes!
