Ali Hemyari of Nashville K-9 says having strange dogs confined in an area can lead to fights. He adds that dog owners may not notice right away if a fight breaks out because they're usually distracted by their cell phones. But Hemyari has tips on how to break up a conflict if one arises. -Blank- The front legs aren’t strong enough to run off from you, they need their back legs. It is actually good advice.
It’s how we get police dogs off of people when they don’t want to let go. Just grab them by the back legs and get there leash on, it only takes a minute longer.

Is to learn there culture learn their behaviors and maybe someday learn to become a dog in there world
Not all dogs you can hold them by the legs and pull them apart. If an ABT has a hold on another dog. You don't pull him by the legs. Use a Breaking Stick while holding the dog still. Or apply pressure around upper neck for dog to release grip.🐶

Dude, I just had to breakup a dog fight literally 40 minutes ago.
I go to a really good dog park. Everyone is super attentive. It’s the true norm for them to be in constant watch of their dog and they intervene quickly if needed so I feel better taking my dog there. We go almost daily and I have only witnessed two fights and they were finished quickly because of the intervention.
I have a big german sheperd. All small dogs see him and start a fight, he has been bitten 2 times by small dogs. It does not hurt him but its scary.

My dog was on a choke collar around other dogs and in public places as they said she was to big and hard to control in certain settings they also insisited she had a retractable leash...
At home she needed double nylon collar...if she was tied outside or alone outside or a harness
And she needed real chain from the home depo and it had to be tied to a fifteen plus old tree so she wouldnt pull it out or chew it....cinderblocks didnt work nor the picnic table other than have somebody come in and actually pour enough cement in the ground and have a tie out put on that....she would break anything else or pull it right out of the ground....outdoor kenels you have diggers...so unless it is a wire enclosed boxed partilly burried they will escape...we had a neighbor that put their labs in kennels like that we also had dirty yard coyotes to at night

Once I was walking my chihuahua and my neighbors husky was behind us and just grabbed my dog by the neck shaking him and my neighbor (a junior high school pipsqueak) just watched while his brother was laughing ._.
I didn’t want to watch so I just legit jumped in and grabbed the husky by the mouth to let go of my dog and got bit in the process

Okay this isn’t the 100% right way, i worked with open packs of dogs and fights would happen. No one way is right, and grabbing the hind legs has never worked for me.
Erna Bajric the only way me and my coworkers were able to break up a pit lock on was with a 1 inch diameter metal pole with a hook on the end used for taking leads off, we shoved it into the gap of his mouth and started twisting and prying. That was after 5 minutes of pulling hind legs, choking and kicking.

four men tried to grab the dogs by their hind legs this it did not work. The bigger dog never let go until I put my fingers in his jaw on each side of his mouth.
